Plus target switching while playing with mouse is really fucking bullshit, Dark Souls with KB+mouse is truly unfair
Just keep your mouse steady =\
I solo'd them with KB/Mouse lol
What's your SL?
55, should be OK, I think I might need a new mouse LOL, my cursor twitches by itself...

Yeah but IMO (pure interpretation) the fight speaks as to how low Gwyn fell. Regardless of the fight itself, the context makes it epic.
Yeah, he went from Lord of Sunlight to Lord of Cinder after linking the flame and going hollow, quite a downgrade. It's a good track, though for some reason it's giving me flashbacks to vincent's theme from ff7 .

Using lock on in darksouls with mouse keyboard is retarded without it you just bounce around stupidly between the targets
No you don't. I'm not gonna bother with that mousefix, thx. I'm good.
It has nothing to do with skill it's using default target lockin is suicidal at least for my darksouls, it auto switches between targets based on how close you get to them, if two enemies are near each other you just bounce around like crazy.
I don't understand why people would want to use the mouse to begin with, this is not the kind of game you would play with a mouse even if it was originally designed for pc. There's so many other keys that need to be bound that I don't even know how I would want to do it if I did keyboard+mouse without using some really annoying keys. Keyboard alone was more than fine before I quit being lazy and set up my controller to work right, and I still go back to that sometimes when my shitty controller pisses me off(for example if I want to be able to reliably jump attack at kalameet's or seathe's tail).

What pisses me off the most about keyboard mouse is that the buttons aren't consistent, sometimes i need to hit Q sometimes i need to hit enter/return sometimes it's backspace...
Holy crap. How the hell do you beat manus? Manus is harder than every other boss in this game. Even artorias was easier. My spells do absolutely nothing to manus, and my moonlight great sword doesn't do that much either . Plus, he hits like a truck and my poor black knight shield barely has enough stability.
Is there some trick to beating him or is it really just dancing on a knife's edge the whole time? I should mention that I am a sorcery focused character.

It's certainly not an easy fight with any character. You really need to use dodge rolls, blocking isn't useful against most(not all, but most) bosses, the stability is never enough, and even when it is you just get stuck in blockstun and unable to attack fast enough.
Try fully exploring the chasm, there's something to draw manus' attention away from you in the fight. hints in multiple spoiler tags(two hints, then just plain directions)+ Show Spoiler +
Still stuck? Directions(spoiler-free enough I hope, didn't reveal the surprise):+ Show Spoiler +
In that secondary area, next to the elevator shortcut to royal woods is an illusory wall. If you go in you can summon an npc for the boss fight. The summon sign is in the boss room itself.
How are you supposed to play this wirelessly with a PS3 controller on PC? I'm kinda confused. I have a wireless controller that can also be plugged into the computer (and it detects it) but the cord is way too short for comfortable gaming. Is there a way to wirelessly play with a ps3 controller or at least get a longer cord? I'm not tech savvy at all so I'd probably need a really layman explanation. Thanks!
Also what mods are must-have? I'd like to play online so I wouldnt want a mod that affects that D:.
I have motionjoy dled and it works with the controller wired into the PC. it's just...I don't think I have a 'bluetooth dongle'? I don't recall ever getting that with my PS3. O_o.

PS3 has bluetooth built into the system. Every PS3 controller has it. It will just work there.
But yeah no need for wireless on PC, if you don't mind cables, just use the charging cable. If you do want wireless to work you will need a bluetooth dongle.

The only mod which could be considered must-have is the dsfix that allows you to render at higher resolutions. It can be found here: http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=dsfix
The newest versions(since 1.5) have incorporated the ability to change the fps beyond 30, though it is disabled by default and also questionable as to the effects online. There should be absolutely no issues with online if you don't enable it though.
Bluetooth dongles can be pretty cheaply bought online. A quick search on amazon shows me most prices between 0.88 cents and 15 dollars. A few are more expensive than that, but you should be able to get a good one for under 15, I see more than 1 dongle that supports bluetooth v4.0 for under 15, though most any dongle should work.
What is the button to climb ladders/pillage corpses? I thought it was the 'confirm' button which I set to enter. However hitting enter doesn't make me do the 2 aforementioned actions. Sorry, but what do I have to tinker with to be able to interact with things without plugging in a controller?
