I was in Anor Londo, just made it up to the third Bonfire, I lit it and rested at it once successfully, but when I came back to it to rest I couldn't. My White Soapstone was going grey occasionally so maybe it was a bunch of failed invasion attempts? Anyway, finally someone did invade and I didn't see them but they set off a cutscene and now it's dark. After reading around it seems like they killed Gwynevere. Are invaders supposed to be able to do this and is there any way to undo it? | ||

That's weird. Invaders shouldn't even be able to reach Gwynevere as she is beyond the boss fog. I wouldn't say it's "evil" though, you don't really lose a whole lot, and even then it's just for that playthrough. All Gwynevere does is give you a ring for miracle "synergy"(those white circles that show up) and if you are in her covenant you can cast two extra healing miracles. Just keep playing through the game, killing gwynevere doesn't really affect anything at all. | ||

Anyway, I'm trying to upgrade a bunch of stuff before I finish the game, but grinding for souls is the worst thing ever. I have tried PVP but the most I ever got was 15k souls. | ||

So i was in human form and wanted to summon lautrec and solaire to finish that quick. I make the little travel using the shortcut through the Giant rat's cage and then someone invade me. I can't see him straight so I decide to rush to Lautrec/Solaris summon signs and invoke them. They appear, right in time, my invader arrives and see that we are 3 fucking badass waiting for him. he starts to run and retreat; using spell instead of his sword while we rush him. He will still manage to kill Solaris using tunnel stairs properly and shooting his spell. But lautrec and I would still put an end to his invasion. Sadly lautrec was half hp and he wasn't able to tank the Gapling dragon as much as i wanted. But that was a lot of fun to have the 2 compagnions there  | ||

-Super Smough is super hard, Ornstein is way easier, but on 2 on 1 fight killing smough first is really really tough. -If I summon Solaire he will smack Ornstein really fast, can't kill Smough fast enough, while Smough will destroy Solaire So many attempts :/, I need to find a way to kill Smough first, Ornstein is easy when alone Plus target switching while playing with mouse is really fucking bullshit, Dark Souls with KB+mouse is truly unfair | ||

Usually I would prefer a keyboard and mouse in pretty much any genre but they really didn't seem to put in any effort to make them usable in this case. | ||

I installed walked for 1 second, turned the game off went to best buy bought a razer onza xbox controller and played for hoursssssssssss. best decision i ever made. | ||

I love it when he tries to smash you with his weapon, you just roll to the side and take a whack at him. Works with most attacks really, just evade and hit him quickly, but always be ready to roll backwards to evade his butt slam. I hope you're using the pillars as well, they're lifesavers. | ||
