Got killed three times in a row in PvP trying to summon someone and all three times right when I was engaged in combat with those knights in Anor Londo. Not being able to heal myself and having them happily heal all the freaking time while I was busy dealing with the knights ugh. What's the deal with having them heal anyway when there is next to no risk for the invader. edit: And did it ![]() I don't really get it... They are the ones who can't heal, invaders can't use flasks, but you can, which is because, as you said, there is no risk for the invader, so the defender gets a bonus.

Invaders can use humanity and spells to heal themselves. At least two of my opponents healed themselves and one of them multiple times while I was hit by something making me unable to heal myself. My third opponent simply annihilated me so I am less bitter about that one, but the other two I should have beaten easily if not for them cowering behind NPC's and healing bit. I'm a high dex character so if they get a few hits i'm dead.

I'm a high dex character so if they get a few hits i'm dead. Hmm.. Dex or otherwise, i believe most people achieve the same level of "survivability" since u ll stop at 40 Dex anw, unless you are one of those Magic Weapon guys? Also, from my experience, PvE-geared people usually get annihilated by PvP-oriented build/gear (none of my invasion experience ended up in me dying, barring those times when groups of Sunbros are just grouped there together waiting for you.. For clarification, in the PS3 version, the Darkwraith usually are more "honorable". They don't step into existing 1v1, they bow to the opponent and don't try dumb shits (like getting the first hit in when the other guy is busy bowing).. As a result, they tend to be the most skillful.. Blue Phantoms (either Darkmoon or the Cat people) tend to be less powerful.. And Sunbros usually are worthless alone so they sometimes band together and wait for invaders, just so they have a chance at killing someone in PvP.) Anw, the point is: don't get too upset if you are killed by invaders ![]()

Though if you don't have a spare computer that can run the game it's a bit pointless except for when you get a new one. Where do I find my save files for Dark Souls? You can find your Dark Souls saves in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\NBGI Keep in mind that saves are checked for alterations and that Steam nor Games for Windows Live offers cloud storage services for these saves.

Even ten times that much(170k) is chump change(In new game +, you can get that much in 3 minutes, no exaggeration). You have to hit at least 7 digits before it's actually an amount of souls that kinda sucks to lose.

So the best thing is to at least keep gear with you that is better in PvP than the gear you are currently using. But yeah I haven't alt-f4'ed any of my invaders and I'm not going to start doing it. ![]()

Edit: Another thing, I was going to slay the guy who drops the dark grain wood ring, but he seems to have disappeared along with Shiva. Do they go away after you kill Sif?

I even bought a 360 controller to play this game because the mouse + keyboard controls are terrible apparently and the reviews were so positive. I really don't mind a challenging game but all this repetition is just driving me crazy. I died a lot in the first few hours also due to me not being used to a gamepad at all but after the first hour I got somewhat the hang of it and barely took any damage apart from the bosses. So the game has been like this for 3hours: 1. fight ~10-15 skeletons by waiting until they strike and counterattack 2. get to a miniboss/boss that 1-2 shots you because you have no idea what the pattern is 3. revive and go back to 1 until you figure out the pattern and kill the boss It was fun figuring out how to beat the taurus boss even though i died at least 20 times but it was absolutely zero fun wasting 5 mins each time to get to him. The same skeletons over and over, doing the same fighting (blocking + countering) over and over... that's not challenging but tedious.

It's very easy to install (copy and paste) and remove. On September 19 2012 23:16 Kemy wrote: + Show Spoiler + I feel like I'm the only one who does not enjoy this game at all.
