Also, new question, anyone knows how to slide down ladders on KB+mouse? Dodging snipers without sliding through ladders is annoying at best | ||

Also go buy the repairbox, saves a huge amount of hassle from going to blacksmith just to repair. | ||

It's not about just killing the boss, but the managing the entire descent into the dungeon so that you aren't half dead and out of magic/elixirs/etc. when you reach the boss. | ||

All you really need to do is lure out the fire and run down, 555 souls every time and it's pretty close to the bonfire. | ||

Run back towards the door except stand on the little ledge beneath the stairs. Hold down block. Watch them all either attack you and fall off or go up the stairs to drop on you and fall off. I think it's like 5 or 6k souls a run and only takes about 45 seconds. | ||

At lower levels kill them quickest by getting them to fall off the cliff. Kick them, or get them to jump over you from the stairs at the entrance. For pure soul purposes it is about the best farm in the game, and certainly the best one available from fairly early on. It is close with the tower in the duke's archives but without the humanity. | ||

To switch items around it's f | to switch miracles around it's r | to switch left handed things it's c and | right hand is v | alt is switch between 1 handed and 2 handed. But the game really isn't designed for a keyboard doesn't seem any accommodations were made for it, a controller is a good investment if you put alot of time into this game. | ||

I'm not gonna use a gamepad. I never did. (well I did but for racing games) I might do the Astorias thing later on, my goals for now are: up Astora's sword to +4, kill gaping dragon, kill havoc(havel?) and hydra, kill dead dragon(?), go through catacombs or the ruins with ghosts and continue there. I didn't expect the game to be this good. But the shitty stuttery camera still gives me a headache after few hours of playing. | ||

Technically. I have an overclocked 2500k and a heavily overclocked 7970 and I still wasnt able to do anything close to maintaining 60 FPS. http://www.twitch.tv/medrea/b/332532316 At least I have my stream locked at 30 instead of 15 which is maxed fullscreen stream FPS. As far as I can tell, this mod does some hoodoo voodoo to get it to render at 60FPS without running everything at double clip. Which means the moment you drop a frame, the game has to shut you down and work with 30 FPS mode for awhile. This is also why it won't work online, because at 60 FPS you are essentially running the game at half speed twice as often. Overall this mod does not get my recommendation since while I prefer framerates to image quality, I think I prefer stability to framerates. The article says this removes the 30 FPS limit, IT DOES NOT DO THAT. It only lets you run at 60 FPS at times, this is not the same thing. | ||

Fucking hell man. Got killed three times in a row in PvP trying to summon someone and all three times right when I was engaged in combat with those knights in Anor Londo. Not being able to heal myself and having them happily heal all the freaking time while I was busy dealing with the knights ugh. What's the deal with having them heal anyway when there is next to no risk for the invader. edit: And did it  phew | ||
