Yeah, could definitely be that most people playing the game does not have their ports forwarded, which would give such issues.

I know i can backstab enemies while their animations are resetting midfight, how to do it before one starts? i tried approaching enemies from the back, walking, but even at the times they didn't turn around at the last second, i didn't make a backstab but just hit them. Also: how do i fill up to 10 flasks at a bonfire? How to get back humanity earlygame? (undead parish)

(undead parish) You need to be in human form and you use kindle at a bonfire which uses up one humanity. From then on that bonfire will replenish +5 more estus flasks then it did before.

By default they give 5 but will give 5 more ech time you kindle one (though the kindle is for the specific bonfire). Also, if someone kindles a fire in another game whilst you're nearby you can gain an extra 1. The fire you get to after the tutorial is already kindled once, hence 10 from that.

Another important note: Kindling carries over to New Game+, so unless you want humanity for some other reason, it's always a great idea to spend it for kindling.

Woooooo That's what you are supposed to do with them, you didn't waste it. Now your estus flask heals more hp per drink. The only other thing you do with them (besides a minor sidequest to retrieve one) is use them to gain 5 humanity, which you'll only do in new game + after you've maxed your estus flask healing(+7).

Which is exactly what he did. he read "use to reinforce flask", used it, and got 5 humanity. Which is definitely a waste (though not a crippling one).

This is generally because of overleveling and the game not really being scaled for it. I would think it pretty normal for a first time player to be above lvl 70 when they hit the last boss, which makes the boss pretty easy, especially if you have upgraded your weapons well. Personally, I got stuck on Ornstein and Smough, went out in the world and got a lot better gear, then went back, and the game was pretty easy after that point.

A lot of the game getting easier is actually the player getting better as well. By the time you've cleared Anor Londo you've dealt with masses of Silver Knights and Sen's Funhouse. The only really majorly challenging area after that was Tomb of the Giants, and that's not even that bad once you're through the first half. Individual skill level completely changes how difficult the game is. I've got about 60 or so hours spent on the XBox version and surprised myself by easily killing Havel with only one death while still very low level and undergeared, + Show Spoiler + without sorcery leashing silliness. There's stuff that seems impossible when you're just starting out that is doable, or even easy, when you go back to it with the experience.+ Show Spoiler + You can also get a bonus weapon right at the very start if you kill the initial boss in the Asylum using just your broken short sword.

Speedlink Xeox. Cost me 15 Euro, feels better than the original xbox controller and all you need for any game is the x360ce emulator which you set up once and then you're done with it.
