There is no announcement .I tend to think so , anyways I'd be pissed if they "dragonageified" the awesome gameplay of the Saga and gave me an action based RPG. And because of this web I just installed Icewind Dale as I only played the BG games , what a shame on my behalf! ![]()

I am sure they don't want to try that again.

Do you remember the TONS of shitty RTS that came out during the "RTS-Era"? This had nothing to do with "taking more risks" it had to do with making quick and easy money... No wonder this industry got hurt bad and only a few big developers survived... The late 00s were a terrible time in the games industry. The FPS era just killed off a lot of genres and resulted in homogenized games. It was a dark time for non-FPS fans. I'm actually glad that some developers are trying to revive certain genres recently. TBS, 4X, RPGs (real ones, not that shooter crap), fighting games, adventure games, even visual novels are getting more releases.

I'm playing Open TTD because nothing else comes even near to the depth of this game. I don't want to jump on the Cod suck band wagon but... Cod sucks ![]() Play 1 multiplayer game and you've seen all that CoD multiplayer has to offer. NOT MUCH...

Forgive me for being sceptic, but it takes more than a website with BG2 music and an announcement about an announcement to make me freak out(on a sidenote, if BG3 comes my life will be complete!) The url I linked hint a HD remake of baldur's gate (a few post back). Probably of the same quality of their remake of MDK 2 ? On a side note if there are fans of baldur's gate that never tried Planescape Torment, they should.

I can understand why it might not be everyone's cup of tea though. I spend 90% of my time in PS:T reading. It's like a new form of art. A different way to absorb a story (which is by all standards good). If only more creative people worked stories through this genre... sadly PS:T seems quite unique.

It's not clear whether it will be a HD remake (unlikey in my opinion, because they denied any connection to a steam release - so why should there be a steam release in first place when the HD remake is coming 2 months later), BG3 or just a port. Or are there any news? I am checking this thread over and over again. ![]()

http://twitter.com/#!/TrentOster/status/139470084321189889 Our next game is a biggie? 2D artist? Overhaul games? We might be getting in HD, that would be best! Don't make a BG3 that fails, just remake the best rpg ever in new colors!

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/842/unbenanntquv.png/ also, eagles and arrows are prone to flying backwards or sideways; presumably dependent on the direction they take. Any way to fix this? Looks like messed up automatic rotating of textures?
