I've taken a bit of a break from MC, but I want to get back into it and, knowing my friend GMarshal loves MLP, I figured I'd give this a shot. I've played mostly PvP servers but always taken the constructive role on them (I build the base while our team went out and fought). You guys seem to love the same stuff about MC that I do - really looking forward to (hopefully) playing with you - if I can get this launcher to work. | ||

Made a tweak/addition to the spawn platform - it now actually fills the role as a spawn platform, complete with a "help desk" that I can build on should I want to. Design's about the same, though. @iGrok: Your application looks great. None of my Shadowbolts have been online to discuss it with, but it's not really necessary. To be honest, you had me at "friend of GMarshal". Added. I'm about to go to bed (long-ass freaking day), but you can take the automatic tour in-game if you want. Check out the spawn platform - clicking on the signs there gets you on you way. I'll have a better one set up later, but for now it'll suffice. Don't be surprised if the server's empty for several days still, though. This happens every Minecraft update, and our community's been busy with all kinds of other games. If you have any questions, ask one of our Shadowbolts, or in IRC, or wait until I wake up.  Welcome to the server, mate, glad to have you. Minecraft 1.4.4 came out not too long ago, and as a result there are certain plugins that haven't quite updated yet. I'll need to look for replacements, as well as get in touch with a few plugin authors before I can set things back up. And, of course, the item repair mod doesn't work any more. We've never had problems getting an item repair mod working before, so this is completely new territory for me. + Show Spoiler + ![[image loading]](http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/343/f/8/liarjack_animated__gif_by_kyrospawn-d4ao49a.gif) Edit: Okay, things are really stupid in Minecraft land right now. This is pretty much the most chaotic it has ever been. First: We are right smack in the middle of a massive hotfix period (1.4.5 was released as I was working on 1.4.4), and Bukkit has not yet updated accordingly (still on 1.3.X). They have a dev version which I will be checking out, but it's not stable and it's only really to test plugin compatibility. The 1.4.4 version they were working on has been decommissioned and labeled "broken" under the download section. Until Bukkit releases an actual build, I won't be able to give any kind of ETA. Second: Spout. It has been integrated into the Minecraft code (more plugin functionality out of the box at the expense of a lengthy era of what-the-fuck-is-going-on), and as a result there's all kinds of Spout-extra plugins that are also in the same period. Dev versions galore. In short, it's kind of a mess. I can only make backups and get a few things ready until Bukkit updates, and (subsequently) everything else. | ||

I think I'll put this up today with the disclaimer that I don't yet know how well it will run. First impressions are good, but I'm sure there will be bugs after a few hours of play. ETA: A few hours. | ||

1.4.5 (dev build) is LIVE! Update your Minecraft, then download this archive. The .zip file contains Mine Little Pony (the MLP models) and the Zombe fly mod in one convenient package. Installation instructions can be found in the OP if you need them, but most of you know how to do it by now. Important notes: This is a dev build. As such, there may be the occasional bug, and I cannot yet attest to the stability of the server. Everything does seem fine and operational right now, but if you do encounter a problem, let me know. Not much has changed in terms of gameplay, but there are a few plugins missing right now where I am either waiting for an update, or actively looking for a replacement.
The Love & Tolerance texture pack also needs updating -- I'm waiting on Raelcun to get online to talk to him about it. There's some stuff missing right now, and the armor is messed up. We'll get it fixed asap. I also managed to find a dev build of the Zombe fly mod. I've provided a download which includes both the Zombe fly mod (configured properly for our server) as well as Mine Little Pony (MLP models mod). Grab it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29920516/tlp-minecraft-1-4-5.zip Most of you already know what to do with it. If you're new, you can find installation instructions in the OP. Lastly, some things in the OP are out-of-date. This obviously includes information on the Backpack and Blacksmith plugins, as well as anything else that's missing or changed. I will update it once we get a stable build set up. 95% of it is still accurate, just keep it in mind. If something doesn't work, let me know asap so I can get to work on it. Found one that works. Here's how: In any crafting menu (inventory, workbench), put your damaged tool (i.e. iron pickaxe) along with the primary component material (i.e. iron ingot). The more damaged it is, the more ingots it will cost to repair. Anyone can repair items, but Earth Ponies are more efficient at it and require fewer ingots to do so. Additionally, only Earth Ponies can keep item enchantments -- anyone else can still repair the item, but it will be disenchanted in the process. The more powerful the enchantment on the item, the more ingots it will cost to repair. Enjoy. | ||
