So, since i just sent you my application, would you mind telling me what kind of texture pack and shaders you are using (since the screenshots look really pretty), and where i can find those?

Also, where does one get pony skins? I'd like to look pony while ponying.

Sure thing. We've got a full client download that has everything you need, including texture pack and shaders. They're all development versions of the client mods, though. They work fine and almost wholly without bugs, but they're also very finicky about what they'll run with. Mod compatibility is all over the place. That's why it's hard to put together a pack like this when there are no stable versions to play with -- everything you install has to play nice with everything else. In ours, it's all compatible, but the price is staying on MC 1.8 rather than 1.8.1 until further development.

Hopefully we'll put together an easy installer in the near future, but for now it's just a .zip file with a collection of compatible client mods and detailed installation instructions (since the install order is very important). I'll upload it later and send you a link so you can take a look.

If you're just curious about what's in the pack:

Only thing missing: Mine Little Pony. It's being rewritten because of 1.8.1 and there's no good ETA just yet, so pony models aren't functional just yet. The minute they are, you can be sure we'll incorporate them because it's just another LiteLoader mod that's compatible with everything else.

I would recommend the resource pack. We've got cool things like custom in game music tied to areas that you need the resource pack to be able to listen to (turn your in game music off for it, but note blocks on), and a variety of other awesome things. It's still being updated semi-regularly, and there will be a pass done on the textures soon-ish.

Hi folks!

Things are going really damn well. The worlds are accessible and ready for players, the classes are satisfactorily set up (although still missing a couple of things — we’ll work on that in the near future), and the server is looking really stable. All in all, we’re pretty close to done.

Barring any unforeseen problems, we will probably open it up to #tlponies and TeamLiquid members tomorrow or the day after. Get hype. ♥

First round of "invitations" have gone out, and by invitations I mean adding #tlponies people who were bugging me to join!

The server is mostly up, so we're gonna start getting some people on here to see how things play! Some things are still missing but we do need a beta test, so if you want in, just shoot me a PM and say hi. I'll send you a link to the client pack if you want it, and you can drop by and see how things are going.

We'll have a slightly more ceremonious launch later, but for now consider the beta test started. We'll keep it low key until we get everything ready, but if you're reading this, you're invited!

The client pack & resource pack has been updated and uploaded. Current version: v0.20d. We are still working on tweaking textures in the resource pack and will continue to do so over time. Right now the only install available is a manual install, but the installation instructions will get you through just fine. Note again that this is entirely optional, and you can connect to the server just fine with a vanilla Minecraft client. But our client pack looks like this:

In other news, the server is running really well! I've had to crush a few bugs in the script, but apart from that everything seems to be running fine. We're still in "open beta", so come say hi! Guests can walk/fly/teleport around the world to look at everything we've built. For build permission, TL members and #tlponies regulars will be added upon request.

The snappy comeback is "You are definitely blind and should probably have that looked at" since the IP is in the first few lines of both the website and the MLP Minecraft thread, but honestly if you couldn't find it at a glance that's probably bad design and I should try to make it a bit more prominent. Separate line with bold/red text maybe.

Hi, the server is kind of idle at the moment as everyone is busy with other projects. It's been a long time since we've done anything on it. I'm afraid we can't accept people at the moment.
