The beta will be even more demanding/flaky as well, since there will be optimization missing in earlier builds.

Not really ever played any mw games but i couldnt pass up the founders pack went ahead and bought legendary. it really seems their model is going to be really close to league of legends. be able to buy mechs(characters) but not xp(kinda like ip and runes) they will have boosters but everything points to balance. iam just really interested in the match makeing and how winning games/and being part of a faction effects stuff in general. i picked house liao due to there faction color being green. i really hope there is an overall goal of sorts. its really fun to just fight and stuff but have a goal is always nice. I would really like a faction map like shattered galaxy and a politcal system to match hope there will be a high number of players because there is a decent amount of factions

Their system profiler on the site doesn't work on my comp. I get a .NET framework error. There's a few threads on their forums about the profiler. It's a pretty simple fix, but I can't remember exactly what it was. Simple stuff like updating your .NET and running in admin mode get rid of a lot of issues. Don't edit what the profiler gives you or try and maually put in your specs. It looks for specific things, and if it it ignores your vid card or something, that's info they want. I suspect the actual profile barely matters at all by this stage, anyway. I don't think they have too many invites left to give out before founders' goes live, and I doubt they'd be too worried about spec targeting this late in the cycle. You, sir, are awesome. $120 on a game without even playing any of the previous ones. Your faith is great, and will hopefully be rewarded. The starmap stuff is coming Soon. Might not be live at launch, just to warn you.

What do each of them offer playstyle wise. Just asking for general playstyles from the better Mech experts out there so I can choose accordingly. I'm leaning toward the Catapult b/c launching salvos of rockets at unsuspecting mechs sounds like loads of fun. I just want to make sure that's really the playstyle I'll like. What other games do you play, and what roles do you take when playing them?

And usually I play supports/enjoy supporting. However I do have fun in dota when playing an initiator and blinking into the group of enemy heroes to get off that clutch SK epicenter or ES echo slam or Enigma black hole. So...I dunno. Those 2 types of roles I like. OH also in BF3 I play a medic a lot and throw down those medpacks. Basically I don't care to play the carries in games where everyone looks to them to dish out the key damage and such. Hope that helps! Thanks for your help! ![]()

Cata or hunchback are probably pretty safe choices. Cata for support - just let your friends get in the furball and lob missiles at anyone who bothers them - and hunchback for your initiator. Although I should warn you that the first 'mech in has a tendency to eat it. Atlas and jenner are riskier propositions because they sit further out on the scale. One is big, slow and strong, the other is mega fast but doesn't pack much heat. If neither of those immediately appeals to you, I'd go with one of the mid-ground 'mechs.

Cata it is then since that was my first instinct and it seems to be a good call instinct wise. I can always take the extra game money I get from the elite pack and buy a hunchback if I want to try initiator.

And will it be necessary to follow the ISN news flash stuff? Cuz I have been ignoring them for now and I am beginning to wonder if that was a good idea.
