Okay, well their CW announcement was that...it's coming in the next 6 months (..more promises)
and that...there's some fighting over control of planets that give you...something? and there's a new rep grind ala WoW. They didn't go into specifics of anything. Like, it was all in such broad terms that it felt like the current development is at the point where they copied the galactic map of the inner sphere and are thinking...there's a lot of planets there guys!
Of UI2.0 they showed us how to buy mechs and that's it. Apparently, looking over loadouts wasn't ready enough to showcase. Oh and they are working on an API to import mech builds from outside the game, like smurfy I would think.
Color me fucking unimpressed. I won't hold my breath on getting any of these features anytime soon.
Really that view of the battles from the spectator cam above the ridge on Caustic among other places just looks AMAZING. It really makes it look like a viable E-Sport.
Devs tweet that private games are coming "asap", so take it as you will in real time, but that's finally GOOD news. I hope that happens, it will actually give some purpose to units.
