Starting to sound like Wings fans that everyone seems to label us as tin foil hat wearers since Wings fans cried foul a few times over unfortunate circumstances for them (See Red Wings v Penguins finals where the Pens won). :D

Mike Smith should also stfu before everyone remembers that he's a mediocre goalie benefiting from a very friendly system In their defense Brown kind of looks like a douche (and his look afterword didn't help) . Never heard of him being that type of player though. But Doughty's tantrums holy shit show some poise.

With the slow-motion you could see there was no intent to it and it was kinda unavoidable. Lucky for the Kings they scored right after or Brown would have an unfair target on his back. Its in OT of an elimination game. They take the number for game 6. Doing anything in game 5 woulda been potenally suicdal. The only ilegal part of the hit was that it was several seconds after an offside call.

Anyone who calls that a malicious knee has never seen Brian Marchment play. And lol at Phoenix after the game. "We don't want to take anything away from LA, but..... WE LOST BECUZ OF TEH REFS." The refs make calls and they miss calls - it's part of the random aspect of hockey. All you can do is put yourself in the best position to win, which Phoenix never did this entire series.

Which leads to another Olde Tyme Hockey Video, in which Bure fuckin' murders other noted shitbag, Shane Churla. Back in the day, even players like Bure knew how to lay down the law when necessary. Who is Shane Churla??? This title describes it all

I don't mind them staying in phoenix or moving, as long as we don't have to spend the next year with the question ''are they gonna move'' well, Glendale is set to give the new owner $17 million a year to stay in Glendale. Moody's stated they will downgrade Glendale's credit rating should they give any more money to the NHL. This will make the cost of borrowing money more expensive for the city of less than 300,000 people. The problem is that last year's losses were $36 million. Last year is typical of what you can expect for a play off run on a year in and year out basis. Over the course of 20 years you'll also have years where you do not make the playoffs. Behind closed doors i think the "Jamison group" is going to ask for $35 million. This summer is going to be a clusterfuck with the mysterious "Jamison Group" and Glendale city leaders leaking bits and pieces of information to paint themselves in the best light possible. Glendale was supposed to put $25 million in an escrow account for this year and they only put in $20 million. So they are already "playing chicken" with the NHL. These shenanigans should make for an entertaining summer. What is going to be hilarious is the NHL asking for a THIRD escrow payment from Glendale while they " dot the i's and cross the t's " on the impending Jamison group deal. This was the same bullshit story the NHL gave Glendale to pull $20 mill out of them last year. Last year they were using the "Hulsizer Group" as the owner to be. If Glendale falls for this bullshit story again and gives the NHL another escrow payment ( putting the total at $75 million ) i'm gonna fall off my chair laughing at how stupid they are.

I mean, look how well it's working out for LA. Anyways, let's go Flapjacks. Bring that cup back to Manitoba and eat a pail of icecream out of it. Ryan Smyth is crying into his mullet right now wishing he had never asked for a trade.

He asked for that trade because his family wanted to go home. Besides, whoever the Oiler captian is in the next 3-4 years will be handing Smyth 90 pounds of silver. He knows that.
