Talk about controversy. I bet somewhere Sabres fans are foaming at the mouth...
That being said, the Stars were still up in the series. I think a more controversial one is the Flames no-goal in 2004, although I still think to this day it is inconclusive as to whether or not the puck crossed the line. As an Oilers fan though, I am inclined to say that I don't believe it was; in any regard it is inconclusive.

I don't know how you would consider the Brett Hull goal not that controversial, it was the Stanley Cup winning goal in triple overtime, not the game(Stanley Cup) winning goal in the middle of the third period. Either way neither of the two teams concern me that much. I mean the league said it was a legit goal after the fact and explained the reasoning anyway.
lol Torts is so good. We don't need two teams for HBO, just make it Torts 24/7.
Nuge has already been declared the next gretzky on CBC, and the Hall - messier / Nuge = 99 comparisons are making me fucking sick. Why doesnt last season's presidents trophy winners get any fucking respect from the CBC?
Booth Kesler Higgins is going to be awesome, just you wait.
Oh yeah Booth-Kesler is gonna kick ass. Higgins sucks balls though. He may be doing ok now, but just wait until that retard his missing 5 feet wide from just outside the paint. Fuck him forever. Raymond when he's healthy could land there. That could be scary
Obviously Higgins is a placeholder until Raymond gets back, but even at that point you have Higgins Malhotra Hansen as a third line. Not a lot of teams have that option.
Then we have Lappiere to teach Weise how to be a huge douchebag, and Hodgsen to clean up any rebounds from Lappieres habitual crest shots and we are set.
Yeah it's a pretty solid third. But words just don't do justice for my irrational hatred of that man. I think it just stems from how much sam and joe tried to stress that he was trying really, really, really hard! But still sucked.
Anyone see Sykora serve Elias's penalty? Elias gets his stick into a guys face and Sykora who was right beside him goes and sits in the box, noone says anything, and Elias scores a shorthanded goal. LOL!

yeah that ruled... right til karma dicksmacked them haha
MSL is so friggin awesome. There was speculation a year or two ago that he'd get traded to the Rangers. That would have been so awesome.

Sean Avery did so much for your team though, much more exciting then having MSL.
