The multiplayer is good but the main issue is it's peer-to-peer, there are no dedicated servers. Thankfully it isn't as bad as it sounds, I would say only about 1 in 10 of my games end up being too laggy and unplayable. The other issue is that there is no configuration ingame for your microphone, so it's always on in multiplayer and others can hear it, this means when you join a game, unless you want bad music/static you have to mute everyone by pressing the mute button on each individual person. Other than that, the MP I feel is fantastic and overall this game, in my opinion, is a must buy. Buying it under $30, as far as I know, is only possible if you search online and purchase from CD key retailers and then activate this key on steam. Everywhere else I've looked is 50-90 dollars (or 30-50 quid)

Didnt know that if you do a party with your friends, then go to matchmaking option, will let your friends in your team always. For all TL players, add [TL] tag to your nick on steam.

+ Show Spoiler + Awwww, I just got to the point in th e campaign where you get the jump pack and the hammer - it felt totally badass to stomp the enemies as an angel of wrath with that kickass hammer and the power to ground pound into huge masses like a boss. I would recommend to play on hard, its not too extreme but gives a nice challenge, I think it would be too repetitive and easy on normal because theres not much dodging or anything ^^

Yes it automatically searches for a game and then joins you and your party if you have one, as far as I know and from what I've seen on the Space Marine forums there isn't currently, however there is a petition. Cheating; well, I don't know. People are asking this on the SM forums aswell, I'm not sure if there is any cheat protection at all currently, but i've not encountered anything online that would make me think there are cheaters roaming about. The key retailers I got mine from I was worried about the same thing, but mine worked fine and so did several friends who also bought theirs from the same and similar sites, I would just pick one that's reccommended. I personally found mine on the Steam space marine forums, theres a thread there called "24.99$ legit?" and a few people gave some links. I think the main reason Dirt3 keys had consequences was because it was a leaked .txt file with all the keys in it AFAIK, steam would look down upon people using them.

You could try doing the following (this works most of the time): Open steam, go to Libraries Find Space Marine, right click it and choose Properties. Click the "Set Launch Options" button and type "-windowed" without the "s Then try launch the game. That should work.

Some guy forgot to mute his mic, his gf comes in and asks what he's doing, he explains the game shortly, then she says: "Hey, as of late it itches when i shave myself." "It does?" "Yeah, so weird. It didn't before." "Your razor blade is probably too dull, buy a new one?" "Oh really?... blablabla... I mean, I don't shave too often..." "Too bad..." "What?" "..." "Is that why you look at other pussies?!" "..." "Why do you look at other pussies?!?!" At this point I threw myself away laughing. XD

XD Rofl I read a story similar to this where a guy was ordering a pizza on the phone and forgot to mute his mic, and when the pizza guy asked for his credit card it went out to the rest of the team.

Hahaha, haven't had one like that yet, though I went assault and killed a guy with a Thunder Hammer when capping a point and he said "fucking hammers". The most annoying thing is when you're on skype and people can hear you, no real way around it but i'm sure that the other players get a good show out of some of the random crap we say.

I had no problem working my way up and after lvl 4 it just gets really easy. yeah the bad thing is that the VOIP within the game is effed up and everything is p2p. just an annoyance but something that Relic will fix next patch. btw there are already hackers? i kinda doubt that since this game is new but then I shouldn't doubt what people can do

I love the hammer guys, they are soooo bad. Takes them an eternity to swing whilst getting shot in the face and it's usually such a trash class - jump down try 1 hit kills, die and then explode jetpack. I pretty much like all the weapons. Now that I know the maps I can choose my classes accordingly, although Assault seems pretty good for all of them. If only there were more maps. I think a two point map would be pretty sweet, being equidistant from each spawn so there's constant fighting between the two.

Assault marines are REALLY good on basilica thou, not so good on other maps. Also is there really any kind of matchmaking whatsoever in this game? Half the time we would wind up with 2-3 people on the other team, and most of the time we (all lvl 30+) would be going up against a team of lvl 1-15s, and
