Sometimes? :D This game is a shitfest regarding not just hitboxes but a lot of different things also. If i was a smarter person i would just stop playing it :D

Its very hard to kill a jumping-scouting player, this is the most annoying thing so far for me. Sometimes when i see him openly, i can shoot his head when he jumps and he dies. Sometimes i need to fire his stomach when he is mid-air and behind a cover. Sometimes i should shoot his neck to get a headshot...
And rarely, even if i empty my magazine (m4a1-s) within close range to my opponent's body, he still lives and my dmg outcome is 0. Well, i am dmg and i think i know how to spray and when to.

So I've been playing the matchmaking in ths game a bit lately, around silver master/goldnova1/2 range depending on how much I get to play.
But between the smurfs, opponent 5 stacks, nasty people, occasional cheaters and useless teams I've been having probably one of the worst experiences i've ever had in a competitive game. I'd say 1 or 2 out of 10 games has been enjoyable at all.
Am I just having really bad luck, or is this everyone's experience with solo-queue? Is the level i'm at just a really ugly place in the system? If it doesn't improve as you rank up I'm tempted to just say screw it and not play this game at all in competitive.

Improve your game, this is the only solution to get rid of creepy players. There are some ranks where you encounter more smurfs or toxic players. By improving your current skill, your KDA ratio will be ahead no matter what. If you and your team have Nova 2 rank, be the guy who is actually NOVA 4 in terms of gameplay. You can watch your replays, read your mistakes, watch pro games or higher ranked matches, compare your games to theirs. I remember what took me out of Nova, it was not my aim, nor my overall skill development, i decided to convince my team to commit mid to b dust 2 strat when we are T and out of ideas. I learned how to smoke ct and this little thing brought me some important wins, and on CT side, i strengthened my B holds.
Solo queue will always be clusterfuck. Team matchmaking is not coming, i dont know why and higher ranks mean more cheaters, less obvious. However, if you loved the game, dont give up. You may buy ESEA, almost cheat-free. Or stick to Casual servers when you feel you can do better. Aim maps, pro games, learning strats, my 3 advice for you.

the backseat players are the worst. when u die, give information and then stfu unless theres something glaringly obvious that the player has missed

Bottom of the scoreboard for my team (I think mainly because I was solo on the site I was on, so if they came to my site I'd just about have time to get one frag that would be instantly returned) but we pretty much routed the other team. So I guess that's good. Only slightly silly part was last round of CT side where one guy was sitting on 9k and some of our team had almost nothing but he refused to buy anything. We actually cleaned up their team in every round where we were "just ecoing" which was nice. X-D
Was fun, felt a lot tighter and more enjoyable than Casual due to fewer players in the game. I could enjoy this more coordinated play. 10-2-9 is a pretty respectable score even at the bottom. Assuming it's KAD, in that order. Yeah it is. It was kinda brutal in terms of finding frags because it was rarely ever a 1v1 at my site and backup was never right behind me. So it was basically either I'd see no action at all for the round (whilst the top fragging guy on our team just boomed through the entire other team with his AWP) or I'd get rushed, typically drop one, get instantly returned and that was me out for the round whilst my team tried to retake the site. T side was nothing really much to talk about. We rushed straight up the middle twice in a row to make it 14-3 and managed to finish up a few rounds later. Good fun though. Actual communication was really nice. Winning a couple of 1v1 situations was quite nice too. I find that judging yourself based on KAD isn't a good idea except maybe when the game is over. Sometimes you get off to an awful start, like 1-7, and you feel terrible, and then your team wins and you're at the top of the scoreboard. Also, it distracts you from paying attention to how the rounds are actually going. Like if your B defenders keep dying for free and you're on A, your kdr will usually be worse since retaking a site 3v5 is pretty hard and, at least at the GN level, teams don't like saving. The important takeaway there is that something about your team's setup needs to change. Whereas if you're losing your 1v1s, maybe you need to warm up more or something. Eh, KDA doesn't usually bother me during games. What DOES bother me is when some guy after the very first pistol round starts yelling abuse at me and then tries several times through the game to try to kick me, like happened just now. Its rather distracting and means I end up playing like crap. >_> Oh well. Moving on...
Hey, you could come play in the TL EU Community nights. Would ensure you'd be with pleasant people

This is really genius, the pasha olof one got like 80k viewers concurrent between them from that. Great marketing tool for them and it's fun.
