I usually play with a classic static crosshair, so when I copied those commands into my console, it changed a bit, but was still static. I went into my in-game settings and changed to classic dynamic, but the crosshair bloom was very large (like the original crosshair) where Hiko's stays relatively small. Is that completely due to different resolutions?

mess around with taht setting and that pastebin had the wrong crosshairstyle too (4 is static, you want 2 or 3)

Hmm, I tried both 2 and 3 and it blooms out extremely wide still. I very much appreciate the help, though. ^^

I just read that Liquid lost 16-1 against CLG.
damn thats brutal. Liquid needs some serious roster changes.

Maybe, but I feel like thats one of the big problems in NA. Roster changes all over the place. I think Liquid have some awesome players, but they especially on T-side I dont think they are utilized well. More practice!

Yeah the NA scene is so far behind EU that they think the fastest way to close the gap is get 5 of the hottest players together and hope to catch fire to compete. They really need to spend 8+ months with one comp and see if there's something that they can improve on or proceed to trade out the weak links.

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I'm a noob who recently got into competitive cs after a couple months of spamming deathmatches, and I'm placed at SEM. I play only Dust2, and I'm having this huge problem at my league where I would get a really good lead on the ct side and then begin to flop horribly at T (like from 10-5 to lose) where after a few consecutive rounds of losing, the ct's would get too rich and def both sites too easily with the automatic sniper's/awp's, and teammate's that don't flash before heading out. What can I do as an individual or what approach should my team take under these circumstances?

On Dust 2, if the CT side has everything defended with AWPs, I love having my team go mid to B. Learn how to smoke CT from mid, flash over and rush the AWPer there. It seems like most teams are terrible at defending it, and if you can take B, it's almost impossible to retake it with only AWPs, provided you guys don't peek or do dumb stuff.

Sounds like a good idea I have the same problem as ^, just doing a decent job CT side and okay side on T, its just the rotations mess me up since Im floating towards B more.

Thats what I would recommend as well.

Be a shots caller at lower levels and you will get tons of friend invites and your team will be much more likely to win. Urge your mates to actually rush through smoke instead of just sitting back forever. Urge them to flash over mid and rush it at the same time.
Basically try to turn a silver match into anything other than team deathmatch and you should be able to improve your win rate.
Alternatively you can always just train your entry fragging enough to hyper carry silvers.

This is a golden advice for silver league. Just to expand a little bit, keep in mind CT full buy a damn a lot more expensive than T side so if you manage to grab an AWP kill, it is almost 7k gold loss for that player and a death loss is more than 5K for the riflers. If you'd like to do something after a lost round in T dust2, grab 2 flash + smoke and an smg. Rotate B to mid and send the flash from the top of the doors while rushing mid preferably with 2 guys min. If CT awp zoomed in to the door he'll get flashed for sure. Then you can drop a smoke to CT side to block the vision from A, now the game turns out to be 4v2 at worst. Most people drop smoke to CT before the entry but surprise factor is more important imo.
As T, if the other team knows how to smoke B entry, it is a suicide to rush B imo(as an eco round). I don't remember how many anti-eco rounds I won by smoking B and trade 1v4 or something. By experience(but noob), the most valuable tactic except b to mid rush is A split by smoking mid doors. It is especially strong in pistol round in which you can flank A(probably 2 guys try to hold) and an easy plant at worst. If you plant as T and trade some kills without buying many tec9's.
You can buy armor + smg next round which is kind of a meta buy right now after a won pistol round(full armor + smg spam). A won pistol round mostly doesn't give M4 + full armor so the other team probably shots for smg or famas which 'll give you a chance to go toe-to-toe second round. TLDR, I generally try mid rush and A split in every Dust 2 games in T when behind.
