How do you guys feel about all those bo2 series?

I think it's really fucking annoying. Either one team 2-0's or it's a 1-1 tie. Obviously there are a lot of fucking 1-1 ties. Great.

I think it's to ease the scheduling for teams that play in multiple leagues/have to travel. Instead of playing the same team on two separate days, they just grind it out over 2 matches in 1 day.

In the end, it's league games so it doesn't matter whether a team wins the specific series or not. They just need overall higher standing out of all the games played, to qualify for the LAN finals.

It just screws a bit with the betting, which I don't particularly care about so there's that

Bo2 is the best format, yes ideally i'd have a bo3 but thats simply not possible due to time constraints, a bo2 is the best compromise.

ESEA is a scary place. Bought it and played my first game today and i nearly had a mental breakdown i was so nervous. Spent far too long being told thats where all the cool kids play XD

BTW All these stats on the 3rd party sites, whats considered "good"? Like ESEA RWS and CEVO EFF?

~10 RWS is similar to that of LE/LEM+, not exactly set in stone, but I guess that can be your baseline. I think ~10+ is where you aim to be at. Not too sure about efficacy on CEVO. From what I've seen, it should be similar, maybe 11-12 instead. Not really sure how EFF is calculated, but RWS is a really meh stat. Makes people get really kill hungry, since you only get RWS for getting kills in rounds you win (I think assists and bomb plants work too), but you'd get zero if say you play A, and the other team suicide rushes B.
