As for why, I'm not sure, but they must've wanted to mix things up.

How many hackers have you come across in SC2 compared to SC1? If Bnet 2.0 did one thing right, it was stop hackers/illegal programs. Also, what are you talking about? There's like 150 people online right now in that game and it's in a closed beta, no fucking shit there's no bots right now rofl. Still eagerly hoping for a beta key though, no luck so far.

I disagree I can go on google right now and find 10-15 different drop hacks/maphacks in under 30seconds, and bnet2.0 hasn't done anything to stop that. D3 is going to be botted to hell that's a fact just like wow and every other mmo or arpg out there and with blizzard's stance of just tempt banning hackers for 2-3days isn't stopping anyone.

You would hope so that's for sure, will they has yet to been seen. Closest example we have is wow in which people have gone nearly 6 years of botting/hacking without so much as tempt bans in many cases.

I know it has a lot more to do with Battle.net 2.0, since a lot of the game not being on the client's computer is what makes the potential for security much greater. Are you saying $10 is what made them have to take care of their game?

I've played up through most of the first act on Cruel (the second difficulty) on hardcore mode. The item-based economy works fairly well as it functions a lot like a crude crafting system where your crafting items are actually useful. You end up having to make a decision on what to do with your orbs/augmentation items. Do you use them immediately to increase the quality of your items? Do you spend them at the vendor to buy that shiny belt? Do you trade them with other players for other orbs/scrolls so that you can buy that shiny helm? Or do you save them so that you can upgrade/purchase/trade for better items later? I've been okay'ed to stream my gameplay so I will set that up shortly and hopefully be able to show you guys some of the game.

Pretty sure permanently banning you from playing the game and forcing you to buy a new one is a good way to stop it. I doubt you'll be able to keep people from creating the programs, but who cares that they get made if no one uses them? It's just not worth going to be worth risk for most people imo with Bnet 2.0 banning your entire game rather than just accounts that could be remade infinitely in D2/SCBW/WC3. Could I borrow your crystal ball sometime though? I'd like to know some other facts about the future and which games are going to be ruined before they come out. You must have never played Eve Online, which has an amazing economy while being connected to real money through Plex, and they're both player-driven.

I think you're a little confused, as I was saying D3 will have a secure economy. Remember to use context clues.

And is still bannable eventually. Also, I cannot find evidence of 2-3 day bans by blizzard for 3rd party program. Unless you are still talking about d2 which was long forgotten by blizzard a long time ago, clearly. And wow? f*** wow ![]() more edit: You bashing too or what? Is D3 secure or will it be botted due to 3 day temp bans and such?

It plays like Diablo except all your skills are passive, and you obtain skills from gems. It gets repetitive pretty quick (it's still beta and has a lot of potential) but the items you can obtain now are relatively limited and needs a fair overhaul to keep the user base trying to perfect their gear and creating unique builds. It's a great start for this game and for hack and slash fans is fun ![]() I wonder what microtransactions there gonna be in the game. Do you know anything about that?
