You can do either, but generally dexterity is the better main stat for dual-wield characters. It will help you with accuracy, which you sorely need, and that part of the skill tree has a lot of crit and attack speed passives, which will also help you immensely.
Strength for Duelists is more for the 2H/1H&Shield style.

Picked this up the other day, it's pretty fun. Though I do have some quirks with the fluidness of the combat after coming from D3 at the moment.
I wanted to ask: if you take Blood Magic, does increased mana % or mana regen % affect life instead?

Haha I read up on that beforehand and just did them solo xD, decided to pick the +all Resistances since my gear has been fairly lacking in that so far.

I'm currently rolling a level 31 Summoner Witch in hardcore and I've been using like 70% of the same gear since level 5-10 up until act 3 currently without any problems. I imagine CI+spell is a lot faster for leveling and clearing rooms but for hardcore Summoner is super safe and gear independent. I also use Freezing Pulse+Cold Snap currently to help clear stacked aoe rooms until I get up to Minion Instability.

I killed every player in my party with the boss. None of them tried to TP out and they all had to use the WP to get back.

If anyone is ever looking for a group or other people to play join IRC#TLExiles, Some of us are usually there playing or not but it would be nice if we everyone who is playing to be in the chatroom so we can organize groups or find lvling partners

Pretty good considering it's a F2P ARPG made by a team of 14 people compared to Blizzards staff of hundreds. I like them each in their own way though. PoE's atmosphere, money system and customization are great. D3s animations and productions values are better but that goes with out saying.

I really like it but have not played D 3 
Sadly so far I am a little bit annoyed with the lack of controlled changing of gem slot numbers, connections and colors.
On the other hand to make the potion flasks into items was a stroke of genius and I just found a temporary solution on the skill tree for the lack of intelligence I experience atm.

I rolled Templar and rushed for 2h Mace spec and 100% chance of hitting the target.
I don't know how to land stuns though. Probably this build I'm running as a templar is terrible, but it reminds me of Stunherald spec warriors/rets from WoW and I can't stop smiling when I feel about stunning people and then smacking them.
Where should I build my Passive tree line next though?

Yes, with reduced mana support gem, it gets lower.

There's also passives that reduce the amount of mana reserved from those.

You can. Unless you've already beaten normal i'd recommend killing all three of them.
