OK so Bestiary is killed and Vaal gems improved but now we got no way to get lvl 21 Vaal versions

true, though any attack build with a vaal skill available can use them with no downside. Vaal Reave is the only one that's currently meta, but I have a feeling double strike will be pretty good. ground slam maybe

One thing is for sure, the league will be one that encourages clear speed builds, much like Breach and unlike Bestiary. I remember doing a Gladiator in Breach unable to do Breachstones because of too low clear speed.

And I agree Vaal Double Strike sounds pretty nuts now. Ground Slam I dunno, the AoE in the trailer didn't look that good.

I'm hoping for some interesting Vaal spells. I got intrigued by Arc when they posted skill revamp #4 or whatever it was but it would be nice to see more and have more options. Plus Arc itself probably isn't getting buffed and isn't that skill typically used with totems or mines or something, which wouldn't work for the Vaal version? Unless they're changing that. Or I'm just wrong lol.

The temple stuff looks intriguing at least. It almost looks like the Lab, where you have an entirely alternative game mode to the usual mapping experience. If the rewards and replayability are similar to Uberlab it could be a good addition.

Vaal GS has 3 charges and only ~1s of no-soul downtime. Seems like a free EQ with stun.

Lightning Strike has a good Vaal skill and was already playable. We still haven't seen Vaal Flameblast, though I doubt the ignite playstyle is worth it without massive DPS.

Really excited for Incursion after skipping Flashback. Temple mechanics look fun and somewhat challenging, and Rain of Arrow might be a thing again!

Arc is getting buffed, it has more damage depending on if there are chains remaining, which should be a lot more single target DPS. there's a compilation of changes here:

unless it gets nerfed, I think tornado shot will still be king of bows since you can clear multiple screens and behind you. Though it'll be nice if RoA has a place.

Won't Lightning Trap be pretty nuts without cooldown? I enjoyed it while leveling aside from the CD, pretty fast leveling.

yea I'm trying to cook up a lightning trapper. I'm wondering if saboteur is the best option still, since you don't need the cooldown reduction. is the Chain Reaction "when your traps trigger, your nearby traps also trigger" important?

elementalist could be interesting, assuming beacon of ruin shock+chill work with traps

Well, you gotta remember that Saboteur is also pretty nuts defensively now and trapper / miner can't leech so the blind aura is pretty nice. Otherwise I agree.

So with all the Ignite changes for next league i kinda wanna try ignite.
Can any ignite experienced guys give some feedback on how it scales/works?

My main goal was actually to use Indigon, does it work together with ignite?
(plan was Fireball for mapping and swapping to possibly slow proj or Flameblast for singe target)

Does critmulti/crit work? Or do you just go for burn and nothing else?
Do you go for the Perfect Agony node?

I suspect there will be a decent chunk of skill tree changes regarding ignite nodes, similar to traps in the shadow area (this one is confirmed at least). Perhaps also something about Perfect Agony, which afaik almost no one uses atm.

Isn't it only the case for Fire Trap and Lightning Trap, and not Trap Support? I don't seem to find anything about other traps.

The no cooldown thing is only for "basic traps" . Such as fire trap, lightning trap for example. Traps that use trap support still have a cooldown but there will be ways to reduce it significantly lower than it was before.

Hmm no offense but this all sounds quite off base as a plan. Indigon will not scale with ignite directly only the first hit, but its a terrible way to do so. Ignite has a base dmg of 40% the initial hit of fire damage. There are many better ways to scale fire damage/ignite damage on items. If you're going to use ignite you want a very strong source of one hit fire damage and then a prolif to spread that to other targets. If not going elementalist I'll mention the elemental proliferation gem was just significantly buffed hint hint;) Fireball is not a great option for ignite for this reason. Its also a bad idea to have 2 link set ups. You'd be much better off just running flameblast and trying to scale your flat fire dmg to combo with flameblasts very large more multiplier and using the profileration to spread your ignites. Crit multi and crit does work on the intial hit only, but with the keystone "Perfect Agony" mentioned above ignite can scale there as well. And you can scale ignite with a variety of tags:
Damage
Damage over Time
Elemental Damage
Fire Damage
Burning Damage
Ignite Damage

Anything with these tags will scale ignite damage. Note that spell damage is not one of them. As mentioned before Indigon only affects spell damage so it will only increased the damage of the first cast. With an ignite build you want something that will scale both the initial casting skill and also the ignite damage that follows. Spell damage is not a good modifier for ignite builds.
The Poe Wiki is your friend Poe is very complex as far as possible combos go, but you can easily break them down and research them using the wiki.

Remember that "more" means ALL your damage of that type is multiplied. While increased only multiplies the base damage. So you want a good amount of increased but after that the "more" value is much more powerful.

As I side note I would think you would be better off not going for perfect agony and simply scaling your initial hit + ignite damage higher without the use of crit in order to be more efficient with passive points. This is mainly true for hardcore play, which is what I'm used to.

Keep in mind, although I have played this game for a very long time I am in no way an Ignite expert

Seems basic but really looking at doing frostblades for the mobility and clearspeed.... wonder if vaal double strike will be a viable skill for boss killing - store up some charges and pop all at boss maybe hmm

There is, in the ignite video you can see several newly buffed skillnodes already as well as the skillgems themselve being buffed for ignite.(seemed like a big buff to me)

Shame about the spell damage not helping with ignite.Really wanted to play something with Indigon and Ignite as i havent used either, would have been too cool to cover both in one build.
Guess Ignite comes first then and find a new build variation.
(and yeah definetely wanna go Elementalist with the prolif buff to range 18 to spread the ignites, sounds dope)
