The guy said sorry after at least.

Not the guys fault anyway, Ziz was playing on another char before and the guy linked him the map and asked if Ziz could do it for him. Ziz just didn't bother checking for reflect.

Profile is now showing actual Heartbound Loop gear, btw.

I appreciate how the lowered cooldown allows you to function at 99% reduced skeleton duration. Kinda hate how the offering nodes give you 30% increased duration to get rid of, but what can you do?
I wouldn't have guessed that efficacy would be the best hungry loop support for BV but what do I know.

Yeah, at this character's cast rate and skill effect duration, the duration on Efficacy makes the difference between 9 and 10 blades, so it's 20% more spell damage, 30% "more" damage from the extra blade (this one stacks additively with the other damage from having multiple blades, so it's not as good as a real 30% more multiplier, but still good), and 10% increased hit rate. Conc Effect is more damage, but I don't want to lose the AoE; Efficacy is more than the rest.

So I've played a bunch of different builds this league. I started out as windripper mfer to get currency. Then I made an ES wander, which was strong but eventually I got tired of because I needed a bit better gear still but there literally did not exist a better ES shield helm or wand on the market than what I was using. I then made an interesting RF/SR LL guardian, using memory vault, prism guardian, shapers touch to get very high ES and armor. That build wasn't fun to clear maps with but is very tanky and good at bosses, although I've yet to do uber elder. I also tried out a poison bow assassin, and made my own voidforge jugg build, both were decent, easily doing shaper and guardians and such but weren't what I was looking for.
I'm now doing indigon + zerphi's poets pen pathfinder, and it is the most broken thing ever. I wish I had found this build earlier. I was able to just body swap through trials in maps and not lose hp because if zerphi's, as well as facetank dark forest rigwald in his wolf form without having to run away. guardians, shaper, and elder have been a joke so far. All that's left is to do uber elder.

My own Indigon character also seems to be pretty strong but I am not using Zerphi (and no point if I am not PF). But I hope they don't nerf Indigon because of this PF build :D
|
I doubt they would nerf indigon, if anything I imagine they would nerf zerphis
|
They already "nerfed" zerphi's by making the recovery over time instead of instant, but it clearly wasn't even in the vicinity of enough. Having perandus available compounds the issue, since people can actually play the build.

I have been playing around with Indigon and you can make some crazy good characters. Like a BV Occultist using Shavrone and LL. 9000 ES and 3 mil dps :D Instead of mana regen you get mana leech. This version is super expensive, in addition to 6l Shavs it also needs that watcher's eye that turns your mana into ES
|
Too bad Acuity isn't instant mana leech anymore, right?

Anyone planning things out for the flashback race?
|
It will be my first venture into SSF, I'll probably just do some sunder build to keep things simple.
|
But a top secret alur build right?! :D
|
A quick google and forum search doesn't find any builds like it. So I guess you're right. But theres a limit to how interesting sunder builds can get, so I'm not sure it deserves the same tag :D

Speaking of SSF, I want to try beastcrafting as a way of targeting specific uniques. Are there any secrets to shooting for specific uniques with the "craft a unique _____" recipes? Should I go out of my way to catch low level beasts and get the crafted item level as close to the item I'm shooting for? Or is the boost in chances (pulling from the smaller loot table at lower ilvl) not worth the time wasted farming useless mobs/areas?
|
Questing zones have specific mobs, so you could look for an area with an appropriate level and mob type and just run it until you get what's needed.

Does that affect legendary beast rates though? I keep reading discussion like when a red beast spawns it could be anything, regardless of the map/zone you're currently in. If that's true then that's fine, just way lower odds, farm a specific area for the "secondary" beasts for a recipe and hope any red spawns fall into the type you need I guess... But if the type of red beasts that spawn DOES depends on the zone that would be really important to know.
I kind of ignored all the beastcrafting shit when I was first playing the league cuz I was just focused on uberlab and then stopped for a few weeks. Now that I'm actually trying to use it I'm understanding all the criticism lol.

Ive heard of a video about targetcrafting lycosidae explain these mechanics in a good way. Havent seen it myself though.
