I'll level my Arc miner life based too (first using Fire Nova Mine; should be easier), but I'm definitely not going to grab MoM (it's also not on the path I'd use for CI). If you do that, you probably need to skip auras for leveling, since mines are pretty mana intensive and it really sucks if you (surprisingly) get damaged and can't drop mines. But I imagine that's what you wanted to do anyway since GC mines don't really lack damage. :D

It is usually recommended to use updated filters to avoid this happening. Most popular filters are made in ways that new items get shown regardless but there might always be issues if they're not updated.

Put together some good starter builds, that start out cheap and level easily, but also scale pretty well into endgame. They all should be ~lvl 88-91, with good gear (6L, important uniques), but no crazy gear, no 21 gems or OP jewels
Havoc's Hierophant Freezing Pulse Totems - 7.5k EHP, 5 totems, 136k dps each https://pastebin.com/5qQcR30V
Nugiyen's Champion Cleave Crit - 6.3k Life, 366k dps https://pastebin.com/GwhqfLcP
Goratha's Glacial Cascade Mines - 8k EHP, 100k dmg per hit https://pastebin.com/ZuPqxSYB
Righteous Fire Jugg - 9k hp, 200k dps RF, 185k dps Scorching Ray https://pastebin.com/irXvNpRq
Uber's Skeleton Necro - 8.5k ehp, 87k dps skeletons (unoptimized, tree good for spectres too) https://pastebin.com/p6XjBVvD
Essence Drain MoM Trickster - 6k EHP, 65k DoT (unoptimized but decent template) https://pastebin.com/bmQUiZwi
Other good builds I didn't have time to look into - Bow Jugg, Tectonic/Molten Strike Jugg, Ngamahu's Flame Chieftain, Windripper Ranger (Deadeye/Raider), Trickster BV Conversion

Well. If you have a super strict filter on from last league, you`re gonna have a bad time probably, yeah. But for example the regular/normal neversink , if you happen to use this, should highlight useful leveling stuff. It shows different items depending on the level of the zone.
In the end it mainly depends on the item filter you were using before

Also every single popular Lootfilter updates their filter before an expansion adding all the new items/gear and currency before the league goes live.
(So update them today on friday a few hours while you are downloading Bestiary and they should all be ready and updated)

As said I'm going to play a chieftain. Either attack with whatever I come across if I don't feel like farming oni-goroshi, or something like this: https://pastebin.com/fVSmPfQh where the thought is to use immolate in 6th socket when available, using scorching ray totem and righteous fire for burning application. Does this work? ps uniques are mostly placeholders, aside from head/chest/shield. The head/chest combo makes a measily cloak of fire give 35% phys dmg reduction (with purity of fire). I'm not sure on whether to use herald of ash. I'll probably level one anyway if I decide to use attacks, leveling as RF if I can get a hold of a springleaf and araku tiki.

Flu has got me so I didn't have more time to play around with builds. So I am almost sure I am going to try Accu Jugg with 2x Ahn Might. Unless I am not able to play due to that flu which is very possible.

btw, anyone has tips to make trading less boring? specifically the selling aspect.

pretty much the same here. Started wednesday, yesterday I thought "meh, I don`t feel great, but also not really worse" and went to work, and today my day started with me coughing for an hour ...
Doc said I wasn't allowed back to work before thursday next week. Will see how it goes...

I find selling rather quick and effortless, altho i dont trade too many items, only 1 normal stash size for selling, as i dont want to trade every single low currency/value item.

On March 02 2018 22:51 Duvon wrote: btw, anyone has tips to make trading less boring? specifically the selling aspect. Run a stricter loot filter so you pick up less stuff. Don't price check items. Don't bother with selling items under a certain price. Depending on your level of experience this could either hurt or help your profits, either way you'll spend less time selling stuff.
|
Don't price check items seem pretty harmful though. Site like poe.ninja helps a lot in price checking common stuff so it ain't so bad.

If you mis price something horrendously you'll typically know immediately cause 50 people will message you at once for the item.

wait wait wait
i can deterministically slam staunching on my flasks without spending 200 alts?
bestiary is the best shit ever I take it all back

Does anyone else find it odd that heirophant has no totem defensive nodes? I am somewhat concerned with the 'monster damage' changes that totems will be back to instant melting to monsters in harder content.

I believe having 4-5 totems and 50% increased placement speed significantly ameliorates those concerns since if you find your totems are dying you can adopt a creeping barrage style of using your previous totems to defend your new set while they summon.
I think soul mantle is still the end-game for totem builds once you can afford that atziri shield. Thats a hefty totem life modifer there as well.
I feel like hierophant is solving SO MANY totem QoL issues already, that adding any more would functionally preclude any other class from even looking at totems.
