I got a box for lvl35 Turmoil but I don't have one for lvl35 Mayhem? Was it only one for either, not both?

Doesn't lowering drop rate just make things more expensive, not worse lol? Or is that the idea, keep an item as lucrative as it is, just lengthen the chase

In the case of Biscos it is a nerf, because Biscos exists as a means to generate currency. The more currency it costs for you to acquire one (or conversely, the more currency you give up by not selling it), the longer it takes to make itself worth it.

Preventing evade is just an absurd damage multiplier in this game due to the way accuracy works. It's pretty stupid if it's cheaper to buy a shield that prevents you from missing as opposed to having accuracy rolls.

I mean I agree, it's just interesting to make it more expensive instead of removing that property altogether. I haven't been playing PoE very long, the idea of nerfing something by just making it harder to attain/chase is interesting, rather than nerfing the item itself.

Making it resolute techniques instead of the current setup would be interesting, but likely cause it to never be used. The problem is that if you remove the mechanic then the shield becomes useless.

I also hate that we don't get numbers or even an estimate for Wicker Men. If it's -10-15%, all good. If it's -50% then might as well not even think about them. :/

even if wickerman are rekt, solar guard are king for clear. And you can use cannibals or tukohamas for boss. Looks like Dyadus untouched.

Thoughts on this? Is this why sunder was so good, it was sort of hitting double?

I'm really, really happy they informed us of drop chance changes. Before you just had to pay real close attention to poe.trade or you could be rekt by a random drop tier change. Or if you planned your build around something like baron and its 150c all of a sudden

It basically means Sunder does ~30% less damage to single target, with a smaller nerf for larger packs depending on the size of the pack you're hitting. It also makes Conc Effect worse since you actually care about the shockwaves from other targets now. Probably won't be a huge change for general mapping, but you'll probably be more inclined to use a different skill for bosses now.

I played enough Sunder between Harb and Turmoil + stuff that levels as Sunder. Probably gonna play DW Cleave Glad this time (and still level as Sunder -_-).

A lot of the Act 6-10 stuff is changed, could be pretty dangerous. They needed improvements though so I'm happy they did this. Act 10 Avarius and Act 9 Deprived Trinity were especially anti climactic

overall I'm fairly happy with the patch from what I can tell. I wasn't expecting sweeping changes, but they targeted most of the stuff people and I thought needed work (sunder, spectres (sorta), VP, etc)

IDK why people had such high expectations for this patch. The big thing was always just going to be the Atlas rework. Everything else is just gravy, IMO.

I'm really looking forward to new bosses, new atlas setup (means new shaped strat, new sextant strats), improved A6-10. Abyss also sounds like a very fun mechanic, hope it pans out.

Nice changes overall and a lot of bugfixes, I like this. Maybe this league I even set up my Atlas properly instead of just unlocking and shaping things randomly xd

Tbh I'm a bit disappointed, I expected some more (significant) skill gem changes and tree changes. Also not happy about many of the campaign bosses getting stronger, I already hated Kitava which got slightly nerfed at Act 10 I guess. Oh well, not gonna play HC so it's biggie.

I hope 3.2 will indeed be focussing more on skill balance and tree changes like Chris said.

But yes, overall gonna be nice to see the Atlas changes.

Lightning Tendrils has not received a big DPS nerf (except not being useful with Spell Echo) so I am happy. MoM nerf affects me a bit and I will need to compensate but I will live.
LT will be my first build. Hopefully it is more fun than the standard character I tested it with in 3.0.

I will also need to test it with different CwC combinations.
