Way too close.
Veil's should still be up for sale, payed 7ex each if anyone here has money around and cares about owning legacy stuff.

Lightning Tendrils is now a (far) better AoE skill than Shock Nova and similar to Ice Nova. Yup. Man, turns out those Development Manifesto changes were all there is to AoE. Not that I wanted to play either of these but LT is certainly possible on Softcore if you go ham on crit (dual voidbattery Inquisitor). Also turns out Blasphemy is pretty terribly nerfed (less so for people not picking any curse/aura range but then it wasn't very big anyway), as is aura range for aurabots but that will still be high enough except for builds like SRS that could suffer a bit. Also Animate Weapon getting a 50 weapon cap actually makes it more interesting, considering you won't drop to disconnects/lag anymore and 50 weapons are pretty much enough for everything doable (i.e. except Shaper).

You can now only have one instance of Blade Vortex active at once. ouch. explains a lot. also makes the skill boring as fuck. Blade Flurry has had its damage reduced by 18% at level 1 of the gem, scaling to a 15% reduction at level 20 of the gem. That is not that much. Probably still works. edit: damn siosa sells all gems now? huge qol improvement imo. esp. in ssf.

Closing up the clear abuse case doesn't explain why they keep buffing it over and over.

Sunder now has fairly improved ST but the AoE got killed pretty bad, am I reading that right?

your curse immune flask/s can run out in long boss fights. ..or you can now use 2 kikazaru unique ring (80% curse effect reduction), be guardian and take time of need for 100%

You'd probably need 3 utility flasks with curse removal and duration. people say that since 3+ years ago, but hardly anyone uses it in hc. the opportunity costs of having to use 3 curse flasks is more prevalent in practice than in theory On March 01 2017 18:24 HolydaKing wrote: Chemist's Stibnite Flask of Warding lasts for a loong time. Since I like Mjolner that is cool :D I could even give my Mjolner elementalist that converts all lighting to fire some more time in standard after this patch hits.

Most of the things stacking AoE are a bit worse than before, but I don't feel like that nerf was to a point were those builds would be way worse now. E.g. EQ is prolly still stronk. CI got a bit of a nerf in vaal disc. not being godmode now, which is entirely fine. flurry got a small dmg hit. Entirely fine. Reach of the Council and Drillneck got a nerf. Drillneck is absolutely fine. No clue about the reach thing. Not a huge bow fan myself. Oh. Maybe Reave. That AoE nerf looked pretty significant. edit: oh and builds relying on pyre. But I feel like I can still pretty safely roll any of the usual league starter builds. RF totem prolly a thing now, too. edit: Before changes base initial hit radius = 20 base secondary hit radius = 25 increases 20% from skill tree (15% from AoE cluster, 5% from Bone Breaker), 34% from lvl 15 inc. AoE gem and 40% from Slayers if we use Slayers as Ascendancy choice. initial hit radius = 20 x (1+0,2+0,34+0,4) = 20 x 1,94 = 38,8 secondary hit radius = 25 x (1+0,2+0,34+0,4) = 25 x 1,94 = 48,5 (you can subtract 0,4 from the multiplier if you want numbers without Slayers) After changes base initial hit radius = 18 base secondary hit radius = 25 Increases = 28% from skill tree (20% from AoE cluster, 8% from Bone Breaker), 44% from lvl 15 inc. AoE gem and 50% from Slayers if we use Slayers as Ascendancy choice. initial hit radius = SQRT((18^2*PI*(1+0,28+0,44+0,5)/PI)) = SQRT((18^2*PI*2,22)/PI) = SQRT(2259,62/PI) = 26,82 Secondary hit radius = SQRT((25^2*PI*(1+0,28+0,44+0,5)/PI)) = SQRT((25^2*PI*2,22)/PI) = SQRT(4358,83/PI) = 37,26 (you can subtract 0,5 from the multiplier if you want numbers without Slayers) from: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1596320/page/91 ... ouch. that seems to be quite a bit after all.

The +3 unsets seem so strong. Getting selfcast RF to a point where it can do shitty map mods might actually not be all that hard anymore, between +3 rings for PoF, buffs to Immortal Flesh and shapers seed.
