Uber lab is juicy today. Easy boss (gargoyles/fonts), can nuke first two phases, extra keys. Argus is kinda annoying to find in 1st room, but 5 keys 9 rooms is hard to beat.

Btw, why is Elementalist considered bad for lab? Sure, Argus takes about 15s because he's ignite immune, but Izaro isn't, and rest doesn't matter.

Might be variance because I've only done about ~20 runs, but the return has been better than T11-12 maps, gambling on enchantments is a nice bonus, plus you get all those juicy sacrifices for Guardian maps.

like you said, slow argus is bad (I find argus scarier than izaro sometimes), and elementalist has nothing special for lab aside from decent damage. Jugg / Slayer / Occultist have good defensive mechanics for lab, Assassin / Pathfinder have huge dps / speed boosts to be quicker.

(there's also some weirdness that Evo has experienced where elemental damage doesnt do as much damage to Izaro as it should, compared to similar tier red map bosses. your mileage may vary)

however if your time is good and you almost never die, then your build is good for lab, doesnt rly matter what people say.

I experienced that too. It seems golems in particular give him insane ele resist that you can't bypass, or maybe they mess with ignites/double dip. He definitely takes longer to kill than basically any boss besides Guardians, but it's still <10s per phase usually.

As for Argus, I don't find him scary at all. His AI is pretty dumb and somehow he takes several hits to kill my golem. It's simply a loss of up to 20s to kill him if he enrages early and ignores the golem. Might be different in Hc however

Elementalist might have nothing special for lab, but then again, 90% of lab is shield charging through stuff and opening chests, so I guess it doesn't matter.

On another note, is there a quantity penalty when you overlevel stuff? Iirc, you always get full quantity in maps, so blowing up larger groups in lab would still be worth it, and the music is good!

Hmm, with EE being used, ignite would need to fight vs additional 25% fire resist while cold DoT would work vs -50% resist.

Orb of Storms does Lightning dmg. You only need to get one big fat ignite after OoS hits. For trash it doesn't matter at all.

Not really need to make sure, only for bosses and even if you ignite once without it... the highest one counts.

Tnx to people that gave me suggestions on turning my totem character into CI but I figured out the hassle and cost is probably too much when the funds I got can be turned into expensive gear for some other character :D

Some of your seen me talk about this next character in chat but here it comes in more details for your scrutiny and advice.

It will be a Berserker Dual Wield Crit Poison Cyclone

Uniques I will be using is 2x Bino's Knife and 5L Cospri's Will

- 5L will be Cyclone (q20)+FA+Crit Damage+Added Chaos+Melee Physical (melee physical or added chaos might get replaced by Increased AoE if mapping turns out to be too slow; which would then be replaced by Conc Effect when going to fight bosses)
- As support and movement skill Whirling Blades+FA+Fortify
- Grace+Blasphemy+Assassin's Mark (because Grace seems to give more total armor than Determination when using Iron Reflexes)
- Blood Rage for frenzy charges and bonus attack speed and leech
- Rallying Cry for double dipping bonus damage
- I will be using an Ancestral Warchief totem as a ranged attacker and additional damage boost

Second curse I will apply by using Witchfire brew that will also give me bonus Evasion= bonus Armor.

The idea is to try to synergize high base crit chance of daggers with high attack speed of dual wielding and cyclone and add a lot of poison stacks (by my calculations crit chance with 4 Power Charges up while using Bino's should be around 75%). Dual wielding in Cyclone gives two hits per attack so Added Chaos damage should work well. Crit Damage gives bonus damage for both physical and chaos damage, while Berserker has two ascendancy nodes that give unspecified damage boost (50% inc and 40% more) that works for both the attack and poison afterwards and combined with Rally Cry for more double dipping I hope poison damage will be good.

I put some points into attack damage life leech and combined with Berserker life leech I am hoping that will keep the character alive.
The idea is to get hit often but leech that and vs tougher enemies Savage Hit should activate (one hit that does 15% or more damage from max life) and give me more damage and leech and attack speed.

I will not have Endurance Charges as I need Rally Cry and I need Assassin's Mark and Vulnerability and I want Savage hit to activate more often than less often. Fortify and high armor values will be my defense.

Gameplay will be:
Whirling Blades into or near packs, use Rallying Cry, mow down with Cyclone, Whirling Blades away.

Also if this turns out as a fail, I can switch to Blade Flurry :D
Or this tree can be modified a little and can work as a Hegemony's Era critstaff poison Cyclone as well

Wouldn't it be better to run 1 Bino's and 1 good rare? Most of the benefit of Bino's is the poison prolif and the regen, and I don't think either of those stack for wielding two of them (though I might be wrong about that...maybe if you're dual-wielding them, killing a poisoned enemy poisons nearby enemies twice?)

Worth checking into the mechanics probably.

Well I am certain when I have 3ex extra I can replace one or both Bino's with better rare daggers :D
I chose Bino's because their stats are very good for this for their price. I already bought two with near perfect stats, each cost me less than 10c. Also each Bino gives global crit multi and global DoT bonus. Chaos damage will probably be half my damage output and I might not find a rare that will be as good.
I will use Bino's to get to lvl 90 and then see if I can afford good upgrades.

Today I managed ~8 min uber lab, but "only" with 4 keys. 5 keys requires getting that silver key and going through a shitty outdoor map, I did that twice and then said no thx. Added like 4-5 extra minutes for me.

I did dual silver key runs, one for extra key, one for lab unique. Took a bit over 15min per run including loot management, but I got Death's Door on my.. 6th run, so I think it was worth it.

I'm still well over 30c per run after ~30 uber runs this league, but closer to 4 runs per hour. Still higher hourly than doing guardians for me, and did I mention that lab music is really good? Definitely farming uber lab next league or 3.0.

On another note, does anyone BSC need Death's Door?

Oh shit that's where deaths door drops from? I've been doing slightly longer then 9min 5 key runs and not getting the unique box cause I thought it was just any old unique.

Oh well, I made probably 4-5 ex yesterday from it.

death's door is a lab unique but I think it can drop anywhere. I'm sure I've gotten it in the end treasure room chest

Yeh you can get it from end room chests, I've gotten lab only uniques. But I didn't realise the intriguing chest or w/e it is drops a lab only unique.

I did like 35 lab runs yesterday I think I would have gotten a deaths door had I done all of those.

At least an izaros turmoil.
