I doubt the crit would immediately go to 5% from a 1% node... Though IIRC Mathils was playing Stormcall Inquisitor and showed Incinerate once while leveling and if I'm not horribly mistaken it had ~12ish crit chance and he only had the Critical Strikes gem and crit nodes... So who knows. edit: Looked up on reddit, there has been the same discussion before: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/4810sn/sois_crit_incinerate_going_to_become_a_thing/ "I think so. Back when Storm Call had 4% base crit you could see 5% crit chance on your character sheet. If you then picked "25% increased crit chance" you still had 5%. Crit is lowcapped at 5% just as it is highcapped at 95%. The only question is if Incinerate can aquire base crit chance through Ascendancy classes/gem" | ||

Also, my lvl 90 character Firestorm only has 580 mana with no +max mana on gear and just 22% max mana in nodes. 1.6k mana with pledge. You'll need significant gear investment or run 0 auras/curses to make MoM noticeable and its really not needed if you do your research and just play safe. | ||

Sure, thats not a HUGE upside but for 1 point it's sure good and the argument that "it's really not needed if you do your research and just play safe" is pretty silly. You can make the argument about basically every single defensive mechanic, yet people still take defensive mechanics because shit happens and because they'd like to do harder content. | ||

Apparently it was 878 with 580 mana reserved (252 int, getting 1k isn't exactly trivial outside of pledge, that's skill nodes or +mana affixes somewhere) >-_->. Also keep in mind that, if you take a big enough hit to lose all your mana, you can't immediately cast flame dash or whatever movement skill you have equipped to gtfo, this is actually not a trivial matter as I've almost ripped before with MoM by standing in aoe shit and wondering why my flame dash wasn't going off. My argument wasn't that it was useless, it was that there was no point in investing gear specifically to have +mana/skill nodes when you can just get more damage instead. | ||

How safe is that PoE offline planner from emmittJ? That's the only thing PoE related thing I downloaded (and I downloaded it 3-4 days ago) and I barely download anything on this computer. It sounds like it should be legit but I got super paranoid after being hacked and uninstalled that thing. | ||

So he must have deleted the emails right away. I never had my account hacked before so I didn't know the process it took when someone else logged into ur account. By then it was too late, about 75+ pure exalts, voll's devotion, legacy lightning coils and cloak of defiances, 1200+ fusings, and even some eternal orbs When I started to play PoE again about over a month ago, I was so surprised that exalts were worth so much and that shav's were so cheap. I actually bought a shav's in the talisman league and I was going to try to 6 link it when converted over to try out for ascendancy. As for the new skills, I think sunder is going to become pretty popular. It has a similar mechanic to skills like kinetic blast and lightning arrow that I predict will make it a dominant skill for obliterating packs. @illsick, have you contacted GGG support? I'm not hopeful that they'll give you your stuff back but at least it'd be good for them to know in case it happens to other people so that GGG can identify the activities of people who are breaking into accounts to take their stuff. | ||
