This is an interesting transfer issue for Hazard. I think it comes down to Chelsea v Man U, as Man City has said they are not happy to pay such high wage demands for a chap who's unproven in one of two best leagues in the world.
Basically it's going to come down to these two arguments from either side:
Chelsea: 1) we are building a team of new players and we want you to be a star to complement Ramires and Mata. 2) You will have no competition on the left wing and can always start for us if you play well. 3) We have won the CL this season and the club is in the capital of London, a great place to be. 4) If you go to Man U you will be competing with the likes of Nani and Young for a place in the team, you will be irritated at this bit part and you should go for Chelsea who do not have enough attacking wing players to want to sideline you. 5) We have 3 other young Belgian players in de bruyne, lukaku and thibault. If you come then you will be able to go out with them and enjoy the camaraderie, as well as benefit from a language link up as you will all be closely connected on the pitch (minus courtois).
Man U: 1) I have worked with Ronaldo and made him what he is today. 2) Man U play attacking football unlike Chelsea, so you will have more opportunities to attack and be in the goals, you will have more personal glory. Man U has a better track record of performance in general and does not have as many old players, so can be relied on to be competing for the prem and the champions league next season, Chelsea got lucky this season and will not repeat it. 3) We are positively committed to wing play and you will fit in with the likes of Young Nani and Valencia to make us the greatest wing playing team in the world. Even though you might see some time on the bench, there are always injuries and also I like to regularly rest players so you will get plenty of games.
Those are the probable arguments. Personally I think Hazard is more likely to be attracted to Man U, but hope springs eternal. Perhaps the Belgium thing can attract him to Chelsea :D. Also, we could really do with Cavani or Falcao much more than Hazard (imo).
PS about Bale...I think he would be great at Barca but they need to appoint a manager and see what he wants in his team. Bale can play a very similar role to Alexis Sanchez but on the opposite wing. Communication will be a problem though, of course, and you have to factor in the fact that Harry Redknapp hypnotises all his players into wanting to stay. Look what happened to Adebayor. Redknapp must be one of the most personally likeable managers of all time or something lol.

News concerning Didier Drogba leaving Chelsea football club sweeping the media around the world. Reported first in France with exclusive interview with the player he told them that he is going to leave and has told everyone at the club and it was hard for him to do it.
"We will not be together next season," Drogba told France Football magazine.
"As I have decided to leave, I wanted to tell them (my team-mates) straight to their faces.
"Except that I could not do it. They made me break down.
"Even though it's been three years since I said I wanted to leave, I found it hard to admit that it was finished with me and the club.
"But I don't envisage sitting on the bench watching others play at a time when the club is looking at putting together a new team.
"So there we go, I am readying myself for a great leap into the unknown. It will be another adventure."

In many ways it's a great thing really. Sad to see one of the biggest striker heroes of stamford bridge leave BUT he leaves on pretty much the highest note it's possible to leave on, he will therefore live on in everyone's hearts as only one of the world's greatest goalscorers with nothing to tarnish his reputation or take any shine of the glimmer of his memory. Wish him 100% the best and don't have a bad word to say about him...
It might also create the necessary room for Torres to take the spotlight or make way for a similar star in the future.

Always great to see a player go out on top, his final kick of the ball in Chelsea blue won them the champion's league. Selfishly I'd like to see him come to the MLS, though I admit it's very unlikely.

Very sad news though! Striking legend you see come into the football club in 2004 with Jose and evolved into a legend! End of an era many of us Chelsea fans didnt want to whitness but it has come! And i hope we can continue on and give him the respect he deserves! Won us many a big game, 9 finals 9goals says it all really. Hope he gets the best testimonial ever, i will be getting a ticket!

I personally think would be his best option! I mean you can pay him nice wages, he is closer to ivory coast and its a higher level of football than China surely? Where Anelka wants to tempt him away too. No one knows i guess at the moment though

Would like to see Drogba try his skill over at Serie A. I know it's unlikely, but a free transfer is exactly what Milan would be looking at (being the beggars we are ). Furthermore, with how well Drogba has adapted to Di Matteo's implementation of Italian football fundamentals in Chelsea's play, I can see Drogba performing well in Serie A.

What and Milan would play him every game like he wants?

From my informations Bedimo is in discution with Milan. He may be the best left-winger available on the market, Milan woould make a great move if they can sign him. This player is astonishing.

I know Drogba coming to Milan is pretty much an impossible scenario. I'd be much happier with Tevez joining instead. Still a tough signing, but it is still a possible case.

This is my first time hearing of this. Do you have any sources that point to this rumor? If it's true though, I hope Bedimo is the left back Milan has been looking for all this time since Maldini left. Taiwo was a sad disappointment this season

BUT I did read one particularly interesting rumor, which as far fetched as it seems might be the most likely reason Utd would go for Hazard.
Utd's been trying to sign Wes Sneijder for the last year, it barely didn't go through last summer. He's a little pricey for what Utd are comfortable with right now, especially since he's basically at his physical prime, but I have heard that Nani and Sneijder could be swapped (perhaps with a small transfer fee still remaining) that would make it within the budget. Now when I first heard this, I really hoped Utd wouldn't do it. Nani has been one of our best performers the last two seasons, and at age 25 he still has a few seasons left in his prime years.
But if Hazard was brought in, then United would have way way too many good wingers, and getting rid of one of them to bring in Sneijder would be a great move.
Sadly I don't think we can afford both of those players, even if we did offload a good player to make it less expensive.

What United needs is new Roy Keane; badass, ballsy midfielder who would lead the team through hardest times and matches. Actually, looking back at how Keano was signed by MU, I suggest they look back again at lesser teams or maybe even lesser leagues for a guy with proper guts - because dudes like Carrick, Fletcher or Anderson won't do.

Fletcher was pretty similar in that role, if anything was better than Keane in the scoring role as well, but he is got some digestiion disease? Has to try and battle that before he can play again, think he should be back start of next season, think you missed him alot this season. Totally agree your CMs are shite and need some good ones fast.

I know right, when I found out United added all those attacking players last season I was impressed but then I saw the state of their midfield/ defence and I was like 'this is like the situation when a child scoffs loads of candy because it's more exciting looking than healthy food, and then gets really sick'. Loading your team up with attacking players and neglecting a central holding midfielder position is just madness imo. They need a makelele, a viera, a song, a touré.

United should really stop buying wingers and try to buy some central midfielders. How long are you going to rely on giggs and scholes? United seems to be in some deep trouble right now though, especially with their owner. If it weren't for fergie, this roster might not even make top four in epl. I really think once fergie is gone, this team will become utter crap unless mourinho decides to come.
You know what got me thinking the other day? How many players in the epl as a whole would actually be first team members at barca or real? I can only think of bale and rvp so far. Rooney? I'd definitely take messi over him, and i'd probably take benzema over him. food for thought
