But the interesting question I'm asking myself now is: will this event pass by without a newspaper outside of Germany (especially the english ones) compare our national team to Hitlers Panzer Legions rolling over Poland and France...
No.. other european countries are usually insensitive dicks about that

Ouch ouch ouch for Denmark, the group of death O.O I'm so afraid, beating Holland and Germany will be very very very hard! We can take Portugal i'm sure as we did in the qualifiers but you never know. Hell it will be some kick ass games to watch and we have to do out best to pass from the groups. Very much looking forward
Personally i'm hoping for this
1:Denmark 2:Germany 3:Holland 4: Portugal

haha got to laugh at group a.... lol my god group b is stacked lol
|
Wow, those groups look fucking scary. This euro will be awesome (like always).
|
Wow Group B is just lol
But if the german team plays their best there is no doubt that it will go trough and to be honest Portugal isnt really that scary anymore like they used to be
predicition: 1.Germany 2.Holland 3.Denmark 4.Portugal

wow hardest group holland could have gotten really.. I like it. Will be quite difficult to survive the group stage already but they'll be forced to play good straight from the get go.

Portugal has at least 5 world class players who can play in any team in the world: Coentrão, Moutinho, Ronaldo, Nani, Pepe. Then the second tier group isn't that bad. We do still have the eternal problem of not having a striker.
1. Portugal 2. Germany 3. Netherlands 4. Denmark

Oh, god, we got France and England. Should be doable, though. Really looking forward to the tournament.
Oh, and Group A is hilarious.

Just looking at the names you're absolutly right, but somehow they didn't play as well as in their clubs when they played with the national team in the past. There is a reason why they had to play the qualifiers for the last two big events and if they don't pick up their game, it don't see them advancing. Mind you, they only finished second behind Denmark in their group. Because of the great players they do have they are of course capable of doing so and if they do, they will be a scary team to play. Btw another example of a national team with great individualists that somehow play way worse than at the clubs is Argentina. They have Messi and all those other great players, but still they don't really perform well.

Portugal just needs to center the team around Ronaldo, if we have one of the best players ever why not use him like one. Let him carry us through the Euro.
|
that is not how modern football works
(hint: messi with argentina vs messi with barcelona)
|
Messi was fantastic in the last world cup with argentina.
|
Croatia fighting! Also group A is just...what lucky guys xD Hopefully Portugal will also pull through
|
Bendter never lost versus Portugal, and I think he allways scores atleast 1 in every game versus them, so they aint winning this time as long as bendter is playing Just hoping he doesn't do something stupid and just shuts up and plays -_-
Remember, last 2 qualifiers Denmark won above Portugal...
|
isn't bendter the best player in the world? (his words)
Liking the draw for england, GOING DOWN SWEDEN
|
I hope Ukraine will at least defeat Sweden and/or France. Not much hope for beating England. In fact, there is no hope for beating England. I'm glad that finals are in Kiev though

Without those traits the best players won't be of much use.

Group A: Group of Sleep Group B: Group of Death Group C: Group of Diving Group D: Group of Fail

1. Portugal 2. Germany 3. Netherlands 4. Denmark I don't think this Euro will be nice to Portugal. They've struggled against Germany before, and this will be the best German team they have seen yet. Denmark beat Portugal in the most recent meeting, and Netherland is a tough team to beat for anyone. But if Portugal scores first and the Dutch decides to have a card festival like they did against Portugal in 2006 and against Spain in 2010, maybe Portugal will go through

ahh Kaka. Entered the field on minute 80 and did on the field in 10 minutes more than Ozil did in 80. Pure joy to watch this player. Just PLEASE be healthy.
