New Arena Video Wednesday, 5 May 2010 Check out the new video of the LEET Arena! the community site counts about 108 Member from which at least one of the "lastest" registration is a spaming bot ![]() The 5th Google result is this thread. I guess for being around since 2008 this sport wont really be a real sport.

Sorry for the late introduction to this thread; given the amount of discussion I thought you might like to know what the situation is. Leet is a real sport. It's not being played en mass but hopefully will be soon. It is part of a new reality television show called Voittajajoukkue (The Winning Team) which will be shown on Finland's largest commercial TV channel, MTV3 (note, this is no relation to Music Television). The qualifying tournaments for the show are being held in May and June of this year and the teams that win their qualifiers will compete for the national championship on the Voittajajoukkue television show. Before anyone asks, yes, I'm involved in the project ![]() www.leet.fi www.mtv3.fi/voittajajoukkue

Def feels a lot like lacrosse. However if they get that giant glass stadium in the video ( http://www.leetusa.com/video/leet-cup-helsinki ) then it would get really interesting.

The stadium is being built at the moment in the city of Kotka (which is about a 120km East of Helsinki). The animations you've seen are pretty close to what it is going to look like so it's a pretty interesting project as you say. No sport has ever been played in such an environment before; just one element which makes Leet very different to playing lacrosse.
