Just got this for PC. I had about 5 matches before i couldn't stand the lag anymore. Does anybody have any pointers on how to reduce the lag?
I have it for Xbox also but i was interested in playing some TL peeps and i just for the life of me can't see, to find a good connection even on green bars. And all i hear from people on shoryuken and other sites is how awesome the netcode is and how they have been playing lag free.
Also i my Xbox GT is: ZombieOnASwing and the GFWL is : PulSeVB
would love to play some people i could discuss things with and what not

Do you have it on fixed setting? that will help the in game and you should also open ports on your router for SSF4 that will help as well

Make sure Vsync is off. That will cause input delay not only online but even in training mode. Also make sure you're getting at least 60 fps with your settings.
FYI when I first benchmarked I was getting like 171fps with the default settings + Fixed framerate. I went into training mode and I could barely do combos because the display lag was horrible. I turned Vsync off and like magic it was fixed.
edit: also spore is the fuerte player who studied at NYU for a bit. his fuerte's sick, played him twice in sf4 (super/AE)
dem RSx resets/pressure
Hooooly cow, that game center is amazing.
Yeah, kellymilkies kept telling me about the arcades and how good Xian and a couple others are in SG and at first I didn't believe her, I was just like nah theres no wya they'll do that well at evo. Then I saw Xian at shadowloo and I'm a total believer now.
Im thinking about buying SF4:AE though i dont have the original SF4, do i need to buy that before the AE and "upgrade" the old one like an expansion or is it a completly new game?

nope AE is a standalone game and does not require the original SF4.

That's odd, I usually never have laggy games on XBL (us locality as well). Don't know about PC though.
I got my HRAP SA finally working using the x360ce drivers. Got a tenpeat after losing so much with the pad. Now I have to start learning Yun, which isn't really that simple, he's different from the characters I'm used to playing.

st.lp x2, st.hp xx lk dp
xx denotes a cancel. I presume that's a Yun combo. So you do standing lp twice, link into standing hard punch and quickly cancel that into a light dragon kick.
This might just pop off as pretty random coming into this thread, but I've been having my eyes on this game for quite a while, and have not been playing any fighting game since Tekken 3 basically. I own a PS3 and ofc PC..
Which system would people recommend me buying for?

PC, assuming your PC is capable of handling it. Requirements aren't too high. If you can run SC2 on High settings you should be able to run AE at max settings.
