Anyway, why aren't there trials for any of the new characters, even yun and e.ryu still dont have any. Are they going to DLC that or something? wtf

PS- anyone else noticing super high temps or freezing on their PC with this game?

Normally system is at like 26°c and when the game is one it;s up to like 44°c

I think Capcom made some announcement that Trials would be delayed 'till after release. Apparently that included PC release.

But they did say they would come out.

Seems that all these people are pretty highly ranked yet they don't seem that good.

Points got reset so it's going to be a bit volatile for awhile until the dust settles. Many players haven't even started playing Ultra yet.

Battle Points are akin to 'experience' for a character. If you find someone with 10k of it you know he/she has played that character quite a bit. It doesn't say much about skill though. Some players have huge amounts of BP but are still shit at the game. You gain more when you win than you lose when you lose so just playing will accumulate BP.

Player Points are supposed to indicate how skilled you are. It works decently well in my opinion. If someone has 1k or less you know they are pretty bad. If they have 3k or more you know they aren't pushovers. It is kind of misleading though because you can have good winstreaks and your PP will be higher than where you should be. All in all it's better than nothing. I think the matchmaking system uses PP to make matches.

EDIT: Actually those player point values was from before the reset so disregard those

i have been bodied by VRyu on his stream i don't even know how many games, the skill gap is just too big and I've played like shit on top of that, but if has been a very fun experience!! he is playing vs easyman atm who is also having trouble winning vs super makoto

Yeah, I agree it should be pretty bad but there has been quite a few times where I'm completely flabbergasted that it missed. I'm pretty much spinning inside them.

I think it just run out of active frames really fast, kinda like Yang's DP but even worse.
You have to use it very deep for anti airing.

Mine turned into Ultra but I bought SSIV: AE with a prepurchase of Ultra so I was playing it just as SSIV:AE until yesterday. Now it is exactly like yours in the picture.

It's normal. They had to change it because they couldn't have Ultra and SSF4 AE be two separate game on steam, otherwise you could not play with people that don't have ultra and vice versa.
