For his combos you can find a lot here, but I'm not 100% sure if the damage has been adjusted for 2012.

For a link into ultra 1, you can hit confirm from a st.MP into TG4 xx level 1 FA, dash forward, ultra 1. If they neutral jump in the corner or you can also cl.MK as an AA and juggle into ultra.

You can only do TG4 xx level 1 FA into ultra 1 in the corner, correct? If so, that's a pretty expensive way to go about it. Why not just do a basic hit confirm combo ending in EX dragon kicks and juggle straight into ultra?

Since people were talking about Juri a lot I thought I'd mention there's been some new tech discovered for her:

Apparently by doing a double tap-like execution technique with Juri's fireball, you can store a FB and still do things like tech, normals, and focus attack without have to hold down the button for the respective fireball.

Notice how you don't have to release the button for the fireball to come out. Tech is less than 6 hours old so I don't know all the ins and outs of it, but on the SRK Juri forums their going crazy for this. Some say this catapults Juri to top 5 status. 0.o



Edit: I know the inputs don't show a double tap happening, trust me, it's there.


Once youve charged a fuhajin you can doubletap the key to use a move but keep the fuhajin for later use.

Sounds to me as if the fireballs are like.... being canceled by the normals? The button is released which would normal throw the fireball but by tapping and holding it again the new move comes out because the fireball didn't even have a chance, and it's still stored because you're still holding it again afterward. That's pretty weird, I might try this later for fun haha.

It's a button press without a button release. Coming off the button enough to be able to register another button press without registering a button release.

Seriously I'm so bad, I ran like 10 sets with the same guy earlier and no matter which character he was (mainly T.Hawk) he would just keep doing air combos or specials like Condor Dive and I never had the right anti-air answer until I just blindly started storing HK Fuhajins. I need to spend like a week straight on practice dummies lol

On a side note, thanks for showing me the subreddit for SF4, they just got a new subscriber.

FADC is actually quite hard to learn because it's a way too many buttons for what it's meant to accomplish. Start off by just FA cancelling before you implement the dash cancel, that way you break it down into two things (And you can use the FA too)

Hmmm....

If FA canceling is so easy I don't see what's difficult about doing the dash afterwards, you're not even using the same hand for that - it's completely free. Still I somehow fail plenty of FADCs with fucked up timings(Oni LK Slash zzz)

FADC implies the Dash Cancel. What used to surprise me was mostly that I didn't know the timing to cancel into the FA and I didn't learn the timing because I already had issues with the dash part anyway. I'm just trying to help him break it does so it's easier to learn it.

I allways get efd up by people using the focus attack against my divekick. Everytime I divekick I get hit, what can I do`?

with who? with the twins or cammy you can jump, if they start focus attack you can recognize it and do a regular jump normal instead of divekick and cancel your landing frames into DP, which will smash their focus attack real bad

otherwise, stop dive kicking motherfuckers so high up. aim for their knees

Mmmh yeah my dive kicks are propably still to high alot of the time. I'm playing Yang btw. But thx for the tips I will try to look out for it more.
I still have trouble with execution alot of times thats why I dont focus on that sooo much until now. Everytime I get a teleport instead of slashes, after crMK I die a little inside. haha

That's because you're release is triggering the command dash. Try to either release before you QCF or hold onto the kick so you don't get a negative edge (button release) for your special.

it usually means you're not hitting the punch button fast enough to cancel into rekka, but it'll take the qcf and the release of mk as the input for command dash. just do the input faster and cleaner

After the AE 2012 balance patch Yun and Yang's divekicks are only safe on block if they hit below the knees right? If they FA your low divekick you should be able to jab them out?
