im stuck between deciding because i pretty much exclusively play alone (except for lan with friends very rarely in lod) and the mfing experience is obviously much better in sp with the fixed maps and /players. but the likelihood of me finding bers and jahs in sp is so low that you have to expect trading to be a necessity, which can only be done online. the thought of mfing online however just turns me off though due to the slower pace, server delay/desync, minimap bugs (which should get fixed soon) and players 1 drop. difficult decision for me as a solo player tbh. the inclusion of tcpip would solve all my problems and make it an easy decision but that really fked me. | ||

From experience, the online bugs are pretty non-existent for me. A few times I couldnt log in, but thats about it. Im fairly confident we will see less issues as time goes on. The upside of this is that when Ladder does get announced it will be a more streamlined event. | ||

I wish MP is easier to find the right people, just like Diablo3. We need one more very simple runeword: a one-hand item which only offers teleportation for all classes. RalRal for example (lvl19 rune). | ||

If you sell kind of any armor you get 10k+ or even 25k+, so its easy to get gold. What do you mean find the right people? You can limit your game to certain character level range. Teleport staff is the cheapmans teleport, it cost ~2k to repair one charge and by selling an armor you can nearly repair the whole staff (around 30 charges). It is great to get over obstacles and can even work as teleporting to certain locations that are far away but only once ofc before needing repair. If everyone had free Teleport like RalRal as you say it would ruin the idea of Enigma. Enigma is a silly strong runeword btw. Runewords arent that balanced at all, its a problem but i dont see it changing anytime soon. You can buy Telestaff starting at Normal Act3 from Ormus. Cheapest Telestaff is around 17k if you get lucky, otherwise it goes for around 50-200k depending on mods. Most chars can do well with just telestaff, you just have to adapt to the idea of using it, like most stuff in D2, optimizing your play. This is how i use telestaff: I have potions on 1-2-3-4 as usual and my switch gear button is on 5. When i want to teleport i click 5 and rightclick to where i want to teleport, then click 5 again to get my standard gear back. My switch gear rightclick skill is by that set to teleport charges and it remains between games. | ||

Finding a teleport staff from ormus, akara or dragnan is nearly impossible. I have checked a lot and I only could buy/find one in the last 4 months (~15h weekly playtime) with 6 characters/classes (all above lvl40). And just make that RalRal runeword doesn't work at pvp. It is just an idea with RalRal because Sorc can start to use teleport at lvl18 and Ral is the closest/easiest idea (lvl19 rune). edit: RAL RAL IS A SUGGESTION. THIS RUNEWORD DOES NOT EXIST. | ||

Alright I see..you were talking about some nonsense for making easy teleport items...its really not that hard to get just a basic teleport item. You're exaggerating. If you want some gg teleport circlet with +2 skills etc that's a whole different story. | ||

Shopping it from Ormus is very consistent, did it yesterday for my druid and it took me maybe ~10 mins of waypointing in and out of the area. I even bought the third or fourth tele charges staff I saw, because the first few had other too expensive modifiers. A handy trick is to do it before you are level 24, because the level requirement for tele charges is always 24, so you only have to check the staffs that you cannot equip at that character level. | ||

please read my post again. I am unable to find a teleport staff at ormus, dragnan and akara. Then I suggest a new runeword RalRal which ONLY offers teleport for all classes. Just think like "there is another option to get it besides searching ormus, akara and dragnan. oh, level requirement level is 24 for teleport charges?! Then Amn+Thul runeword is the solution (amn lvl25 and thul lvl23). edit: this runeword with teleport with charges would be fine aswell. | ||

Both are a lot of fun, if you can do some % of your play in coop it just opens up a lot of nice new tactics and use of more of your class skills that are useful as support, and some other perks. I'd just recommend favoring 2-4 players game over 8P cause 8P is usually rather "fast & easy" due to 1.10 stuff. But even in a 8P game you can just go somewhere else and kill monsters solo or duo there with a 8P difficulty so that's nice.. And then if you're on SC especially there's pvp. If it's legit man go for it. | ||

I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later since I’ve been playing PoD the past few years. I really hope they add content when ladder is announced. Game was fun while it lasted, but I already see the writing on the wall. | ||

That and it seems every other player you meet is a Sorc. I have only seen 2 maybe 3 druids since launch. | ||

I'm not really into that as I find repetitive gear grind tedious so I've created a summon necro (to be transformed into bone necro later) and fury druid because they're fun to play. While I level them up I'll be finding some mid-level gear for others to use and will eventually get to having a high level char in each class but started with the ones I find the most fun as opposed to the most optimal (which would be sorc, pala and trapsin). | ||
