Been struggling with that myself!

Real simple:
-Bluetooth your switch controller to the pc (I use belkin usb from Amazon)
-set up the pro controller to ur steam via steam controls (it’ll read it as a Xbox controller)
-launch D2R through steam
You can also seamlessly go between MKB and controller while the game is running. So during combat I use controller and when I’m doing inventory management in town I switch to MKB

Well I'll just see if they manage to prevent cheating by the time ladder launches then.

3 vexs dropped within 5 minutes of Cows yesterday. I was sad I didn't get one of the first two. Got lucky with the last one in Tristram; I was killing some mobs while waiting for the guy to open the portal. Then I got even more lucky by trading it for an ohm + a bunch of low-mid runes because a guy really wanted to make HOTO. Managed to get my first CTA which rolled average (3-3-1), but still greatly helps my runs. And this morning before work I found my first Shako off Meth! Think I will run more mephs to try to get an occy or trade for it; then tal's ammy 3p set hybrid MF build.

so since "lesser" cold immunes are breaking in d2r for some reason does anyone know whether the combination of infinity with cold mastery could break the stronger immunes? i forget how cold mastery was actually calculated but since its breaking immunes on its own now thought i might ask
|
Cold and fire notoriously hard to break. Usually you needed an Infinity + 15 or more points in cold mastery.
Personally I prefer to run blizzball sorc. A bit slower since your damage output isn't as high but you aren't stopped by anything that isn't dual-immune (and those can be handled by your merc). Technically lightning sorc might be good too since it's the easiest to break but I'm not a big fan personally.

Damn, I forgot what a chore it was to kill Diablo on normal as summonmancer. Thankfully I got my +3 bone spear wand earlier that I want to convert into White down the line...

Anything above lvl 17 is redundant unless you have an enemy with some cold resistance but is NOT immune. You can test this with Hero Editor giving CM lvl 99 and shooting a cold immune mob. its not supposed to break but in d2r it currently does. most likely a bug but if this bug doesnt get fixed theres a followup question to be had, hence my post. under the current circumstances if cm already breaks some immunes, would an infinity on top break even more immunes?
|
Reading through the official forums seems the opinions are divided and more testing is required. There are reports of CM breaking cold immunities but I don't know how useful that is since 99% resist will still take you ages to kill (if you can even overcome the regen).
Even then you'd need like what, 41 points in CM to break higher immunes? 24 with infinity merc I guess.

I never played MP before yesterday. fast leveling is insane at MP. One level up from lvl71 to lvl72 by doing 2x Baal rushs at nighmare within 10min.
A question about white monarch. Do they always have 4 sockets when I use larzuk? Some people want to trade with me. They only offer me white monarch, never a 4s monarch. I speak from my experience with crystal sword. That crystal sword got 3sockets from Larzuk.
|
Larzuk always gives the max amount of sockets for an item (based on item quality/ilevel), so yes, Monarch will always have 4 since it's an elite shield. Crystal sword is low level normal item. You could technically get a Monarch that would not roll 4 sockets but only if it was a low quality Monarch that was upgraded as a trade scam.

According to discussions on d2jsp, people aren't sure if there are already bots or not, no clear evidence. There are definitely a lot less than usual. May be just pretty clean now, may be clean later, there's some hope for D2 legit ladder eh^^ Some guys saying you could easily make enough money back from a bot before it gets banned to buy a new D2R copy, so hardware ban do sound like a good addition. [This is where it's on the dev to not decide to profit from cheaters rebuying copies all the time while keeping cheating.. (since they transfer the items to other accounts) gotta ban them quick or hard or both]
|
I don't know if there are bots but I am astounded at how quick people are to pick items off the ground. I have a high refresh rate monitor and I have fast reflexes and on boss kills it's very rare if I can pick up anything.
|
One way to do it is to have as much clear room in your inventory as you can and pick up any/everything by spamming click when boss die then drop what you don't need. I think when you get used to it you can be faster at just picking up the uniques and stuff yeah. (ofc some will just leave stuff behind depends). Well it's also good to solo/duo stuff at times right^^ From what I read there are no bots in public games right now, like ppl seem to be debating whether there are any bots running in private games from the pace of the economy (now a lot slower) or look for any evidence in trade topics but don't see clear evidence. Some guys used to botting are saying they want to use bots later not that they're using them now. Im just looking at discussion but got some hope for legit ladder/game.

Apparently right now on HC you can die while loading the next screen after taking a waypoint and such -_- Also on frequent game crash. Need fixes^^ Suggestions : Character should only spawn after loading of course; on crash/disc game state could just save and you have to log back into it (ideal imo but sorta complicated, what about other players present? need to remove them and put you solo in that situation but it means you can now duplicate the game state for each player.. not good unless you just remove all loot and xp from that situation until character just escapes the situation and starts new game), or your character stays afk for only a few seconds or the time it takes to open a tp and get into it, or maybe it actually automatically casts a tp and goes into it.. I hear that you can't instantly save&quit as before though? If so that's great cause it's kind of a cheat out of any situation, rather than having to tp out properly.

But why is this not implemented ingame? If you can see like ilvl area 1, ilvl area l2 and ilvl area 3 then all worries (in ssf aswell) and tradings scams are gone. I found a crystal sword but I dont know which ilvl because I dont know the its drop location anymore. Also larzuk could give it 3, 4 or 6 sockets...
edit: also it is 100% safe to say that items in hell are only ilvl 41+ items? (except names like "low/crude/bad sword").

I had to kill him with golem+IM, which was probably the dumbest way I've ever killed a nonbugged boss. Can not recommend, felt like hours.
