![]() Just please don't read up on any walkthroughs and guides. The best way to experience this game is to play it at least once without any research. After that you can play with min-maxing and doing uber builds.

Just got to the Jedi home place and doing some stuff here. God damn, once you get past the lulzy engine this game is pretty damn fun.

The expanded universe is largely unfulfilling garbage. The sooner you learn that and just stick to KOTOR 1 and 2 the better, even if you want an answer to what happens after 2.

He goes to kill the emperor and fails and is kept alive for 300 years after that then is freed by a republic strike team from the emperor. He goes crazy and heads off to the foundry where imperials try to defeat him but he disappears in a flash of light. He might have used fold spaceto get outta there. Bioware will use him again in SWTOR.

I started off thinking Soldier because I've always enjoyed being a melee powerhouse, but then was persuaded to go with Scout because it appears there's no appreciable loss of melee ability or toughness, particularly with gear, and more versatility in general. Since I don't have the time these days to play through a game multiple times, versaility and the idea of a character who can hack/slash while also using a good amount of Jedi powers appeals. After deciding on Scout, I then ran into very different opinions on how to spend my Attribute points. The only concensus seems to be that Intelligence is the least useful, followed by Charisma. Currently, I'm contemplating something like 16 str, 12 dex, 10 con, 10 int, 16 wis, 12 cha (I think that's how it breaks down, I'm at work and can't check). The idea is to be good at melee and spell casting, while still having some charisma to have some additional dialogue options. I haven't reached the point yet obviously, but I've also read conflicting opinions on what Jedi class to choose. I am leaning toward Sentinel to continue with the versatility approach of the Scout, and I hear the immunity feats are very useful. I hear that going Jedi at level 8 has benefits as a Scout because you get Implant lvl3 and Uncanny Dodge 2, but have also read that I should stay as low a level as possible before becoming Jedi, which is around level 5 I hear. Lastly, skills. Everything I'm reading says go with Persuade and Treat Injury, but then it gets mixed after that. I've heard that HK-47 is a great character to have, for dialogue if anything, and I hear that some investment should be made into Repair if that's the case. One guide said Computer Use is good to have for those times when your character is operating solo, but no one else has indicated as such. As a result, my plan is to just max out Treat Injury and Repair, while putting a bit in Persuade, but have no clue how much of each I should alot. Thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?

Scouts typically go into Jedi Sentinels, so having a few extra int would be good. Get Persuade whenever possible (it helps), though it's less important if you take Force Persuade. At the very end of the game when you are alone, there is one computer that takes either 99 spikes or nearly maxed out Computer Use skill and it gives you the best armor in the game. Apart from that you can use another character or just T3 to do all your computers. Treat Injury becomes slightly less important later in the game, but is good at the beginning. Repair is really only useful for leveling up HK if you want to use him, and I've found to be the least useful of any of the abilities.

Sorry, I'd love to give my input on the actual build questions but it's been too damn long.

I would advise not to level up before you become a jedi, though. the best is to stay at level 2 through all of Taris and Dantoine. That way you get maximum jedi powers.
