2. You need to patch the .exe to get it to work on 1920x1080 and when I played it 1 year ago it didn't worked with the Steam .exe | ||

Didn't really care for that pre alpha video myself. Feels like one can't tell how it will play with changed perspective, which is the most important. Though I guess if they do it pretty enough somebody will tack on the original game play. ^^ | ||

I played KotoR first on my Xbox (the one without any other name, the giant brick) and loved it. KotoR II had its problems thanks to Lucas Arts, but TSLRCM made it not only in a playable state, but making it one of my fav. games ever. I love both KotoRs, I love the work that the modder scene has put in both games, K1R is great, more will come on that. But I am also very open minded to this very very early alpha version with FPP. I well made fighting and item system was always a good system, very fitting for a RPG, but in the end, KotoR is for me about the story, the characters and the atmosphere. A well made FPP system with still usefull RPG aspects (Items, Lvls) and a well made melee combat system (Dark Messiah of Might and Magic anyone?) would make the game atmosphere even more dense. It will stand and fall in how much they change the story, the characters and the dialogs. Even if they "fail" and bring out a KotoR 2017 which is widely different from the originial: Where is the problem, it is fan made, it will be for free, nobody takes the old game away. I will definitly keep track of their work and watch where it is going. | ||
