I didn't think Kotor was that old... In less you were born in the 2000s I think you would have been around when the game came out. I am still pushing the Supreme SNES RPGs on people, Such as Breath of Fire, Lufia 2, Chrono Trigger, FF mystic quest.

Though Knights is a different type of RPG than what I listed, The new style of RPG since everyone moved away from classic turn based fighting. For a more movement action style of fighting... I still loved KOTOR so everyone should play it as well :D

So it doesn't look like I will be able to stream the play through at the moment. I can't get Xsplit to register my speaker output so there is no sound. I will update again later if anything changes

This was the first game I got for my Xbox when i got it 7 years ago but when I got to the Rakghouls I gave up because i thought it was too hard haha. Then Halo & COD came around and I promptly forgot about KOTOR for all these years.

Now I'm finally getting into it and I gotta say that its AWESOME!!!

Lol, this game was awesome, I remember when I was young I only tried the second one and actually managed to get stuck on the ship part(ROFL). I played it again like 5 years later and it was really fun. The HK-47 companion was the best part, and I remembered him every time I used the vertex form of a parabola (y = a(x-h)^2+k, I dunno y, but my brain associated the H and K there to HK-47 >.>)

I just re-downloaded KotOR 2 (I've long since lost my discs for it) and it's giving me that damn "crash after you start a new game" shit again.

Last time, patching it and grabbing a different noCD crack did it, but it's persisting this time. Google has failed me on this one, suggestions?

You should add the Mod that lets you play Kotor2 with the Bastila skin. It doesn't really fit in the story line but Bastila is so damn cute that you don't really care

Just finished KOTOR1 for the first time. I decided about a third of the way through that I was playing the game for the story and not the combat so I ended up cheating my way through most of it, but the storyline was amazing. And I've still got so many other things to explore.

Downloading KOTOR2 now; pity they don't have it on steam, I don't like torrenting things. :/

I'm working my way through this game from the $2.50 steam deal. I was really excited to get into it, but I am just finding myself incredibly bored. I got off the first ship and now I'm in that city that is quarantined. I just got the guard outfit and I have no idea where to go...

I just beat this game and it was amazing! Much better than Mass Effect which I got bored of quickly. I love how the dialogue stays fresh and the plot is always engaging. I want to go back for another run. I'm trying to play skyrim now, but the dialogue just doesn't hold up to the old republic.

Also is it worth playing Kotor 2? I'm getting a lot of mixed reactions from this thread on K2.

I'm pretty much indifferent towards K2. It has some amazing stuff in it and some not-so-hot at the same time.
Definitely worth a try though.

I enjoyed playing the original KOTOR when it came out but playing it now the combat system is just way to slow and shit. The story and dialogue is still top notch though.

yeah boi, I decided to replay the KotOR's not so long ago. 1 is great, the combat may be a little slow but once you start getting more attacks per turn and better feats it does begin to look cool.
Mmmm force pushing then running up and slashing the fuck outta a sith with a Vibroblade...

Are you by any chance using the Force Push -> Critical Strikes + Sneak Attack as Scoundrel/Jedi Master? The damage from that is SO sick. Also, Mission with maxed rapid shot deals horrendeous damage to stunned enemies
