So happy for dirk, kidd, jet and the whole mavs crew. You guys deserve it.
|
in 2 finals, he also won 5, lebron's come up short twice and has none to show for it as of yet
|
Can't wait for the Heat bandwagon next year to make new excuses.
And Dirk finally winning his ring makes me glad.
|
Again, where the hell is Dirk's family? Am I being super insensitive about something?
|
at any rate, good job mavs, suck it heat

Hahaha just imagine MJ in an elimination game in the finals down by only 8. I would bet everything I owned on him getting the W. Lebron is a joke.
I'm so happy Kidd got a ring. Man deserves it, the losses with the Nets were brutal.

Dirk needs to give his mentor a huge manly huge. A priceless moment.

Kobe won. Lebron loses. Kobe doesn't have Bosh and Wade; Artest stepped up for Kobe last year; Kobe hit an important shot at the end of the game 7; Lebron turned the ball over. Lastly, Kobe has rings, Lebron does not.
Of course, Lebron can erase all of this if he wins next year, but it stinks that much more given how he exited the playoffs the previous two years.

Grats to the Mavs! Good finals this year glad for Dirk, Kidd and Terry. Chandler played really good as did most of the Mavs bench. Congrats to them! Hopefully next year they can do well again.

They should be permanently banned from ever attending an nba game. Why? Just because they didn't want to watch their team not try and get roflstomped for another minute? The players already gave up why shouldn't the fans. Maybe it's LeBron who needs to be banned. Because real fans are there for the peaks and the troughs, because losing is one of the most important, but hardest to endure part of the process of getting better. If you're a real fan, sit there, take it, and remember every detail, then relive it every time you're in a playoff game and every time you win. I agree if the team kept fighting, but it was just pathetic when you could tell most of the Miami players gave up early and only one or two were still trying. Why not criticize the players who gave up?

I just can't put into words my emotions. It feels like 20 years of being a Mavericks fan has finally culminated to this point. All of the past disappointment, anger, frustration pales in comparison to the joy that I feel now. I can finally call my team the champions. I can ignore all arguments about my favorite player being too soft and never having what it takes to win. I've never loved a team as much as I love this one.
Thank you for the magical season Mavs.

Man, such a physical game. Lots of big no calls, that Chalmers continuation call made me laugh out loud though. Big game from LeBron, doubled his free throw attempts from game 5 (4), just missed his season average for points by 5.
I never give any credence to the +/- as it's really inconclusive (see Brian Cardinal at +18), but.. Wade, Bosh and Chalmers were all +, and LeBron was -24 (double checked on ESPN.com and NBA.com). How is that even possible? The Heat were simply traffic cones when it was just LeBron and the bench on the court....
