This is why i'm not worried lol. Just keep it close until James stops driving or somebody starts getting in his way.

It's not even Dallas not playing well, it's more like: Kidd is really old, Peja is really old, Terry is unbelievably bad at defense, and Barea is secretly terrible, but no team in the West had the personnel to take advantage like Miami does.

Miami wins because they are better and play hard, not because of athleticism. Is anyone saying that Miami isn't playing hard or well? They are also super duper athletic. It's a positive - clearly a facet of their success.

There is a 38 year old guarding Wade.

Are you going to attribute Wade's ability to get into the paint on his athleticism or on his dribbling ability?

Are you going to attribute Wade's ability to get into the paint on his athleticism or on his dribbling ability? It's both. What about the Heat's ability to close out on perimeter players? What about the length of Miami defenders? Wade has the largest wingspan of any point guard (he was a point guard coming out of Marquette) measured in like the last 10 years. In basketball, there are three basic things you need to be good: physical prowess, smarts and skillz - with a "z." If you have 1 thing, you're probably just a rotation player at best. If you have 2 things, you're a starter. If you have 3 things, you're a superstar.

Miami's defense has athletic players but their scheme is killing Dallas. What about Boston, Chicago, Detroit? Were those hyper athletic defenses too?

Are you going to attribute Wade's ability to get into the paint on his athleticism or on his dribbling ability? Who cares how he did all year long? How many Wades are there in the NBA? All that matters is this series. The answer to the second part is both. If he had lead feet, all the dribbling ability in the world wouldn't get him anywhere.
