First off if you argue that that gif shows Pepe not hitting him, that's because the FPS is too low. He didn't just fly in with a straight leg, he actually kicked towards Alves his knee. This foul is a deep red card as it can cause ridiculous injuries, and it was aimed directly at the player. He never went for the ball (as CAN be seen by that gif). Alves got lucky that he could play on. | ||

Tactically, RM were fine, play for 0-0 in the first half and let barcelona tire out and then hit them hard in the 2nd half. I see no problem with that and Messi was doing JACK before the red. Also, Referees should start handing yellows to anybody that goes and complains except for captain / assist-captain. Barcelona were diving left and right and holding their face when they got hit elsewhere to try and draw a red card before the red. After that they scored and just started diving. In single striker, the 9 is a striker and the 10 is attacking mid. He's referring to Mesut Ozil. | ||
