I hate to be 'that guy' but the anticipation is killing me: If anyone has a spare key, I'd be enormously grateful. I'm a veteran of every Tribes game. I remember playing Tribes1's demo on my dial up a long time ago and then getting the game and playing the insane mods people made all day. Good times.

If you want to get more keys for people, go to http://www.curse.com/betas/tribes
They've got a bunch of keys there if you've got a curse account. Or you can just make an account. I've made four accounts to give keys to my friends so far.

Not true  Friends I gave codes to who didn't pay have gotten codes from that as well.

I believe they give out rounds at patches. If you're already signed up, you get some keys. Not sure how frequently the batches come out though.

Can someone who is decent at this game plz answer my question?
In order to be a successful skiier do I need to have seperate keys for jump and jet or can I just use the combo bind?

Need seperate.
At speeds, if you jump into a rise of terrain using the jump/jet combo you'll lose significant momentum, if you just jet you will not and the curve of the terrain will elevate you anyway.
They might fix it in a patch but right now I'd recommend 3 binds.

Is duel a popular gametype in tribes? Do you guys think this will/can build an esports scene around it? I still want to see either a new Unreal game or something like Unreal Tournament Live.

duelmod was mainly just a way to, well, practice 1v1 and combat skills
for a "dueling" type of competition instead of CTF there was arena, which was essentially the tribes version of counterstrike - two teams, 1 life per player/round, limited inventory usage and no heavy armor, first team to win a set amount of rounds by killing all players on the enemy team takes the map

There is no option to duel in the current game, and I feel like if you did play 1v1 it would be kind of boring, the game is about big team capture the flag, with an emphasis on the team. It has a similar fast gameplay but it's really different than quake or UT, if an e-sports scene were to surface I doubt it would be huge, maybe the size of team fortress' competitive community? But who is to say.. It would most surely be team based tournaments and not 1v1

I looove the game, but I dont like at all the fact that it's F2P.
Srsly, you play against guy that oneshot you, but you you gotta 1000shot them.
It's totally unbalanced.

as it stands the two default classes are the most powerful in the hands of a skilled user. I've been playing all the other classes and doing ok, but when I switch back to the basic ones the game becomes laughably more easy. If you're having trouble competing with soldier or ranger, it's a problem of your skill, not class balance.
