But yeah it looks like a money scam, to make people buy something imba and then nerf it later or maybe they just plan to turn pubs into one of those terrible p2w games to manage themselves and then it's up to the community to pick/balance the weapons and classes for competitive play. I don't know if you can do that with custom servers :/ I do not understand neither the infiltrator pack or the raider pack in light of where they tried to go with the game before that.¨ | ||

Yeah, this game is super hard for the cameraman since there is so much stuff to watch. At the moment it seems cappers get the most love while they are setting up their route (which is wrong in my opinion... watching LO vs LD would be much more interesting) as well as snipers (which is wrong again imo.... although its my favorite class you just stand there shooting stuff while not moving much). That being said Craig is quite good at it and always seems to be at the right place. Recently they also added a second camera in corners when important stuff happens simultaneously which is a very good move. | ||

It's overpowered in many ways. First off raider's one weakness, only weakness really, was that he didn't have the instant splash damage gun but this was compensated by shield pack, insane smg, good nades. Now it has the thumper as well which makes the already strong raider even stronger. Second the gun itself is just so ridiculous, the projectile is big as fuck, I got 33 airmails in under 10 mins or something(didn't count time really) and many times when I thought that's a miss it wasn't. Couple that with rather fast projectile and fast speed(0,69, normal spinfusor is 1,87) the gun replaces raider's both primary weapons very easily. Weapon stats, courtesy of Lumberjack/TTaM. http://ph-matt.dyndns.org/weapondamage.php The NJ4 and NJ5 are pretty much identical, have to test NJ5 in game and see how I like it compared to NJ4 I don't even want instant splash damage weapon for raider really and I play raider mostly in comp. I've worked my ass off to be able to pull off nice GL shots and juke people indoors with it. Lucky for me the plasma will be banned in comp. | ||

*edit* Welp quitting this game until plasma is fixed, plasma is so broken its unreal, cannot play CtF whatsoever raider just floats around base 2 shotting everyone. | ||

Just stay away from game modes where the plasma rifle is an unbeatable advantage (CTF, possibly), or go to custom servers with NO RDR. | ||

There isn't really a huge community similar to TL. The closest I can think of would be http://www.reddit.com/r/tribes. You also have news sites like http://www.spinfusor.org/ that post lots of quality content. The forum there isn't very active though. | ||
