Care to explain, what you mean by "Blizzard haven't been independent for 15+ years" ?
On other hand, anyone can link this "Big" news they was talking about on CDP RED Summer Conference 2011 ? Besides that is going to consoles, i kinda disappointed every time PC game goes to consoles

And we will be able to change Geralt's hair style.

Well I was a bit off, it's 13 years. They were bought by Vivendi in 1998. Vivendi still hold a majority stake in Activision-Blizzard btw, the Activision name was used because it had more penetration. Same with Blizzard, they don't own shit but the name is good.

"A number of fixes have been made in blocking functionality during combat. Also, player character responsiveness in combat has been improved, and Geralt can attack more than one target during normal combat."
This is something I'm excited about. I hate accidently targeting a mob in the back but clearly hitting mobs in front of it and doing no damage zzz

Do you hold down the alt key to target a specific opponent in combat? I didn't know about this function until much later on in Chapter 1, and the combat was so much easier for me after I found out and much more enjoyable. I was smacking everyone closest to me with my sword like some crazed beast, and I was thinking... This dude is seriously mental.

Yeah, I use alt of course but I also try not to use Quen. Which means I'm dodging a lot. Many times have I been repositioning and trying to hit my locked target and getting blocked by something else that happens to be invulnerable because I'm not targeting it.

Would have to echo to sentiment that this is a masterpiece of an RPG in my eyes. My only, small, complain is that difficulty tends not to scale to well as you get better equipment.
I will be playing this through a couple of times straight away, and will be coming back to if for more every now and then aswell.

+ Show Spoiler +Dude, I've said it before two times in this thread. The dragon cutscene never happens, I hit it to zero hp then I can't hit it anymore.

Am I the only one with problems of mouse sensitivity since last patch? Tried to load a save to test the new DLCs and my mouse is just insanely fast, changing the settings does not seem to work anymore.... Not playable

It's a yiddish phrase for congratulations. Kind of weird reference, since its not like Poland has had a significant Jewish presence since...well...you know.

I don't have that issue.

This got raised earlier but the poster never got an answer. Chapter 1 spoilers.
+ Show Spoiler +At the end of chapter 1 I decided to help Iorveth. You have the option to follow his plan or do your own. I did Geralt's plan to walk him through Flotsam but when I did a cutscene of guards shouting "Kill the bastard!" appears, and then I die. I loaded a previous save and followed Iorveth's plan. Same thing happens. What do I do?

+ Show Spoiler + Completed the game 3 times without seeing this. Follow Iorveths plan, do not go through Flotsam but follow him on the cliffs around Flotsam and make the assault on the prison barge with a group of elves. This is what you're supposed to do if I am not mistaken where you are in the plot.
This Helpful?
