Vergen is definitely better than the camp, but the Battle of Vergen was kind of meh and getting rid of the curse was better than getting ingredients for Saskia. People say it's my bad for not doing sidequests. I did them all in Chapter 1 and didn't like them too much. A few of the reasons why I didn't like it: + Show Spoiler + **Note, I only did Roche's path -Took a while to figure out combat but once I got it, it was alright. There really should be a little "tutorial" kinda thing. -I got to Letho (first time) without any gear upgrades, so he was pretty much impossible, at least for me - had to load an old save. -After I loaded it, I had to run around looking for materials and stuff. I don't generally mind gearing up in RPGs but it was just dreadful. -OOOOOOOODRIIIIIIIIIIN.... OOOOOOOODRIIIIIIN --- WILL YOU SHUT UP? -Same deal with Alchemy. Had to look online to figure out how to do it. Only drank the mandatory potions for missions and nothing more. -I did the third chapter in about 1 hour... and the castle thing was a huge mess to navigate in. -Boss fights are definitely not that great. Anyway there's more stuff that bothered me but still, I'm picky I guess. | ||
