They are kind of super different types of games though.

My question: Does there exist any sort of structured PvP, like for example in GW or GW2? And can ppl trade Items Online? Cuz, even though I'm having enough fun with SC2 as my main competetive game, I always hope for a good, structured and balanced PvP in any game I buy.

As for trading you kinda could. You just had to drop items and the other person could pick it up. Not sure how it is in Dark Souls but i doubt its that drastically different

What the hell, how do they expect you to flawlessly slaughter 50 waves on enemies and..hell, i even ran past everything as far as i could, and could not find another save point.

Guessing you didn't play Demon's Souls? The whole point it that if you die...you go back to the start of the area and have to re-do it. Pretty brutal, but rewarding.

This game is supposed to be insanely difficult. More developers should learn from the guys over at From Software. You're not playing CoD, bud ![]()

In some areas you'll find ways to open up shortcuts so that you don't have to run through the whole area every time to get back to the boss (not always though); also, as you go through an area a few times you learn how to handle the enemies better, and it gets easier. Keep exploring, keep fighting, don't rush, just play smart. You'll turn into a badass eventually and roll through stuff that used to give you hell, which feels awesome :-p

Which miniboss are you stuck on? You don't have to fight the black knight, he just guards a ring that is ok. Did you beat the Boar? Are you stuck on the boss on the narrow bridge? Did you know that if you drop on a boss from above and press R1 (light attack) you do a powerful drop attack for 5x normal damage? That attack makes the first few bosses easier.

Welcome to the world of Demon/Dark Souls. I played the demo at e3 and it felt easier than Demons Souls did but hearing this, I am glad I just picked up my ps3 copy. Add me if you need someone to play with at odd hours of the night: Kazeyonoma on PSN I'll probably be playing this for some time =] So happy to have a challenging game to play in a world plagued by "casual" modes, and game designers trying to target the "general audiences". Something for the more die hard fans is always ALWAYS appreciated. Funny story though, when i went to buy Demons Souls a year or so ago, and actually found a location that had a copy (pretty rare release it seems due to small budget?) the Gamestop guy cautioned me that he heard this was one of the hardest games out for the ps3 and that I better find friends who play it because he's had many returns on the game from customers claiming it was too brutally hard. My eyes lit up, and it did not disappoint. I cannot tell you how many times i tried to explore a "hole" and fell to my death. Luckily the online messages helped a lot and there didn't seem to be many trolls because of the small number of copies released. I hope if the same message on the ground format was followed in Dark Souls, we don't get a ton of people giving dumb advice like "jump down here" and just kill people. The helpful nature of the community made the game more fun and actually doable at times. So excited for tonights gaming session. WOO!

I appreciate a hard game but this just looks like a painful grind. I'll pass.
