Her dagger is pretty good, bleed for 50% of their hp. Although the problem is her bleed is only 20 per hit compared to normal 30 or 33.
Her scythe is pretty good too, uber bleed.

You'll need to probably upgrade normal stuff much higher to beat the Drake sword. Usually people turn weapons into Lighting/Fire/Chaos or +15 normal if they have a weapon enchant.

His mechanics seem super simple and you can even shield block most of his attack.. however I can't seem to kill him! Still using an upgraded Halberd and I can't seem to get enough damage on him without draining my stamina completely each attack rotation. ..if only that stupid Black Knight before Hydra would've dropped his Halberd for me. Are there any tricks other than rolling under his charge to get damage in? It would probably be easier if I used a weapon which had an overhead swing..

Also: I've read about players trading directly but have yet to come around any way that it's supported by the game. Am I missing something or is it only in NG+?

Also people seem to be using shields way more than in demons souls.

So I swing at the barrel to release him ..... and it did damage. I decide to kill him to see if he'll at least drop something nice, but nope. Look him up, and yeah he was one of the trainers.
