I can't tell you what armor he had; didn't seem very fancy. Thankfully this has not happened to me since. Plenty of failstabs and facestabs, though. I've come to accept them. I'm having a lot of fun. I hang around the catacombs bonfire and get invaded non-stop. As intimidating as some of the crazy gear might be and as frustrating as some glitches might be, it's becoming clear that Dark Souls PvP is extremely skill-based. | ||

i spent first 4 hrs or so (b4 my 1st ps3 yellow lighted) ramming my head trying against the tv trying to get past the graveyard path at like SL <10. everyone kept sayign this was harder than demon souls so i just kept trying at it until my friend told me u can go a different path | ||

I've been messing around alot with different weapons and enchantments. I've played through the first 2/3rds of the game 4 or 5 times now so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask! | ||

with new patch out, should brush the dust off my dark souls copy.already had 50 hrs on my main alone (demon souls i had a combined 110 hrs at the min.) | ||

It's now very easy to find people willing to help you kill a boss but player invasions are also much more frequent. It probably balances out somewhat.  I keep dying, but it's ok (well, today I lost 70k souls, I was NOT happy....cleared the entire londo Ruins, waiting before entering the boss room, then I found a passage I didn't explored, and it happened it wasn't a passage but water you die in ><) My fear of a reduced difficulty is gone xDAnyway, i'd wish to be able to play in human form some more, every time I do it to kindle a fire, I get invaded, sometimes I win, most of the times not. The problem is I get invaded non stop more or less, so the risk of playing in human form is very, very high. Fun times anyway, still in londo ruins, blocking on the boss. I did the garden and bassin, both the hydras, the hollow tree and the painted world. edit : this game should really have a "souls lost" counter. | ||

On a side note, now that i look back on it, i think this game was my game of the year. I LOVE skyrim but in the end this game was so much more memorable overall, at least for me. Shit was an emotional roller coaster... | ||
