There are like 5 different areas. You can buy stones that remove the curse from the NPC in the belltower where you beat the gargoyles or the woman that sells moss in the waterway between Undead burg and firelink, if you've opened that path. The guy in the Londo is the hardest way to cure it. The Firelink bonfire is closest. New Londo isn't actually that big, just kind of a pain in the ass, but once you know what to do the Firelink bonfire works fine.

Through drakes is NOT the fastest way to the boss however, this route is pretty fast:

Run passed the two ghosts (a boss fight in itself, just HOW DOES THE FIRST ONE HIT YOU?!) and then up one flight of steps and instead of continuing, just go down the slope and then will put you next to the pool place. I'd suggest killing that blob thing first so if you do die, you can just run through dodging all those thrusties. I've been getting pretty good with the katana, it's becoming harder for them to hit me. I need to work on stamina control. Had a pretty good duel last night versus, might have been an Iaito user. We fought like warriors, dodging and slashing and rolling into slashing and thrusting and I was winning until I accidentally rolled off the edge of Kiln, so I started going back to the ramp but the guy just fucking charged me, took a big chunk off me. Managed to roll out and then he thrusted as I slashed and we both died. 2nd time that's happened, both cool fights too. I remembered what some guy here said about the uchi vertical slashes making it easier to sidestep shields. I only remembered it after I fought a rapier/shield guy though. PvP is like a beat 'em up. It really has so many elements. Now I can try implement sidestepping better and maybe rolling to their side to slash. Also might start not locking on more often because the thrusts are bound to miss. god I need to get back home...I've spent every day since I got it just playing and playing. Now I finally went to my uni lab and god damn I just wanna play. I JUST WANNA PLAY. Got to around level 70 on katana chick and the Anor Londo's were slowing down so I thought I'd get the last two souls. Giant tomb isn't so bad...when you run through it. I remember the first time I decided to do that because I just thought fuck this, fuck those bone dogs and fuck those skeletons, I'm legging it. It's quite an easy route, as well as to Nito as well. Nito was tougher than what I remembered. My cleric's force spells wrecked him but my katana wasn't doing as uber so I whipped out old Quelaag's. Came down to the wire, he was about to do his big aoe move again so I backed up but not enough space so I just had to charge him down. Luckily I won and said fuck this place and went to PvP at Kiln. Some dick head kept ninja flipping at me. And it hurts...

That went well. Now that I joined though, I cannot get summoned ever. I can leave my now orange sign in front of a boss for hours with no bite. I've done this several times at several different bosses. Is it because it's trying to match me with other warriors of sunlight and we are very few? Is it because people think the orange sign is just a regular orange message you see everywhere? Do people think orange sign means an NPC and they wait to get white summoning signs instead? Is it because I'm higher level now? Quite the pickle. I feel like the onion knight. hmmm. hmmmmm. It is somewhat unappreciated, but indeed it's harder to get summoned when you are in Warriors of Sunlight. The cause of this ultimately is a combination of things: 1) You're more likely to get summoned by members of your own covenant. Warriors of Sunlight is actually has a requirement to join and is fairly well hidden, so less people are in it 2) Your signs show up as orange. Unless you're really looking for it, you often won't see this from the comment-marks. They really should change the color of it to something else like Yellow/Gold in my opinion 3) It's possible you have out leveled the area you're at. You're generally only summoned by people near your level, and each area has a level people are usually at when they're there. Later on it spreads out more, but that early most people are at about the same. It's possible if you do a boss repeatedly and spend your points you won't get summoned anymore there and will have to move to a later boss to actually get summoned. Personally, when I was at Anor Londo so long I got summoned into a NG+ game on my first run through, I knew it was time to move on. This is of course painful that it's probably hardest to get summoned when you're in the covenant thats goal is to be summoned and assist other people -_- Note that leaving Way of the White will also result in you getting invaded much more often. For better or worse, you have been warned

Smoughstein and the painted world lady are my two highest options right now, I hope it's enough.

I know it doesn't seem right, and you may take a hit or two charging in. When you are point-blank melee their damage is fairly low also. You can also wear some super-heavy armor. Even if it cuts down your run speed, you want to avoid being staggered so you can just keep pummeling them. Of course if you could summon an ally there that would inherently help do damage faster, but I wasn't able to find a summon sign (I think I was too high level) ----------------------- I think 50 is about right for Anor Londo. Besides that, you would have to go to one of the four Lord-vessel bosses

Basically it seems overpowered, but only if you don't upgrade your weapons to 10 (or +5 elemental) Note you can also do way better if you invest into damaging stats (str with a strength weapon, or dex with a dex weapon, etc)

So I backed off for a bit...then ran behind his firestorm and gave him a new, metal organ. Also just fought the most pathetic mage. Spams moving soul arrows. Managed to get 2 backstabs off on him and he spams crystal soul arrow. sadly one hit me... got 200k souls. Could make a giant leap but I'm waiting for the patch to see if scaling is improved, then I can dump some in dex 450k and a buttload of dragon scales. Priscilla's dagger +5. Gonna grind some humanity and then try using this thing

I haven't bought a Gold sub yet (just only recently got an Xbox), but the online play sounds like a blast -- is online worth the purchase for the added features? Sounds like there's a lot of stuff to miss, but everything (except stats) resets in each playthrough right?

Unfortunately, full havel set including shield is OP though, I get tickled.NG+ is basically just for farming for new mats / perfecting builds. Difficult to make a game hard again when a majority of the difficulty of the game in the first place is just not knowing whats coming / figuring out how to kill things. To make NG+ hard you'd probably just have to make everything 1 shot you.
