I picked up Demon's Souls relatively late, and watched a lot of videos and was well aware of the wiki before I actually started playing, so I always felt that I missed out on a lot of the genuine discovery and learning that I could have had. Needless to say however, it is by far the best RPG game I've ever played, and probably my favourite console game in general. They've mentioned that they want to make Dark Souls more challenging and difficult, which both scares and excites me, lol. This game can't come fast enough, lol. | ||

Goddamn the combat is so good and solid. IMO easily the best console game in many many years. Insanely difficult but never unfair, great replay value, fun PvP (if only more people played). If Dark Souls can improve on what Demon's Souls started, especially in pvp, it has the potential to be one of the most fun and addicting games ever. | ||

Trailer is awesome, seems like they really worked on the graphic part (which was the only weak point of the first one, even though the atmosphere was great) and boss fights looks better than ever! | ||

OH YEA if there was one thing i wished i could of changed/altered/improved from Demon Soul's was more diversity amongst classes. like abilities skills unique to the knight/soldier, unique bow attacks for the hunter, stealth/assassin for the thief etc. hell first character io made (priest) i was expecting to be a support/healer/light DPS type class wearing medium-sized armor, but now my priest wields a giant freakin butcher knife (<3 meat cleaver) and looks like hakumen from BB lol. still a great game overall (wasted 100+ hours on it amongst 3 characters myself ^^) but the little things i feel would of made my experience that much better | ||

Was at my parents place and my brother tells me to try this game pretty much blind. Start playing, controls feel good, nothing to crazy. Go down some bridge, see some knight on the other side, comes up to me, one shots me. Dead. Decide to start again took another path, and then some weird thing happens and all the sudden there's like 10 bad guys coming after me. Dead. Go down same path, bad guys are gone somehow but I keep going, come up to a room, go to thru a doorway. Flaming archers above me, Explosive barrels next to me. Dead. Gives back controller to little brother. (Might have been a throwing motion followed by some colorful language) So ya... I don't know what to think of this series. I could beat it given enough time, but I'm not sure I have enough controllers. | ||

So far from what I've seen it looks alright overall. I like how they're trying to keep the Demon's Souls theory and just improve upon it. I really hope they don't simply just dumb down the game to appeal to the masses. I personally LOVED Demon's Souls I thought, and still think. Its one of the best games I've played since Shadow of the Colossus. | ||

The way its designed for the demo might not be exactly like that in game what I mean is if all classes can get black eye stone like demon's souls il be invading, still not sure if demo is showing just preview kind of thing. | ||
