Of course unlike ng you dont depend as much on skill and a lot of the difficulty comes from going in blind. If you were to plan out an optimal route and look up boss strats ahead of time it would make it a lot easier. So I would suggest going at it without doing that. Im about halfway through the game and so far Ive died a similar amount as going through master ninja. The games are similar in the way that you have to do a lot of trial and error and dying to get through sections from one save to another. Exactly what I was looking for, thank you, I may pick this up. I'm just getting fairly loaded up with games right now...

But those pesky zombies keep closing it when I try to get back from dying, so I constantly have to go around it. AHHgh so frustrating. Use the elevator bro. It's in the chruch.

Can someone tell me whats a good build for a warrior? So far ive boosted a little vitality, a little dexterity, strength to 16 (min req for drake sword) and quite a bit of endurance, so that I still have just below 50% ..of whatever its called, you know what i mean ^^ I wouldnt mind making this dude someone who also uses some magic or pyro from time to time, though I havent even learned a single miracle/magic/pyro spell yet. (I just found out about the guy who you can buy magic spells from after you free him in Undead Burg). Or does this not make sense? Would a pure warrior with just tons of strength and vitality without any intelligence be stronger? Also, how do I get summoned by others to help them and from about which lvl onwards does that make sense?

I like co op games too, but in Demon's/Dark Souls the atmosphere is heightened by uncertainty. You shouldn't know what kind of guy calling you to his world and you don't know when somebody is going to invade you. Plus constantly playing co op with a friend would just make it too easy.

Also, how do I get summoned by others to help them and from about which lvl onwards does that make sense? Pyromancer spells do not depend on Intelligence for damage. It is instead, dependent on the level of the spell casting tool, "Pyromancy Flame". So basically, a "pure warrior" can also cast very high damage fire spells. This system is somewhat odd I know. The first ever PvP encounter I had in this game, was with a blue phantom who was helping me out on a level; A black warrior phantom invaded, and was able to kill us both. He had tons of health as a warrior, and he killed us with fire spells up close that hurt a ton. I suggest you have enough Strength/Dexterity for the weapon and shield you plan to use. Getting "powerful weapons" isn't necessarily required, especially early on. An upgraded Drake Sword will carry you for quite a while. Endurance should hit 40 as soon as possible. At 40 Endurance, your stamina bar will be at max and will no longer grow. Any extra points in Endurance will only allow you to wear heavier armor while being able to run and roll "at ease". Rule of thumb, your current Equip Load should never be over 50% of your maximum Equip Load, or your movements will be hindered. Getting high Endurance basically grants you a much better chance of survival due to a larger stamina bar and the ability to wear better armor while remaining nimble at the same time. Vitality is also important, a stat which is self explanatory. In a nutshell, this is what I would do. - Invest Strength/Dexterity whenever weapon/shield requires - Try to have Endurance reach 40 early. Between Endurance and Vitality, I'd probably give it a 2:1 ratio or even 3:1, depending how good you are and how you play. Keep in mind, this is just an indicator for early game. Eventually you'll want to max them all of course. As for a Mage build, I'll just make it short and summarize the path I'm currently heading towards. Intelligence 99 Attunement 50 Endurance 40 Strength/Dexterity to whatever is required based on what I want to use. Vitality 99 Both builds basically follows the same logic I did in Demon Souls, even though there are some differences in the systems (eg. Pyromancy). It's all slowly creeping back to me ![]()

Do I have to go back to the sewers to get cursed so I can keep going, or is there a better way? You can buy the temporary curse item from the moss vendor in the waterway between Firelink and the Undead Burg for a few thousand souls; get a few if you can, they last a fair while and the ghosts will sometimes drop two of them, but if you run out in the middle it's a pain. I could usually clear all the ghosts with one or two stones, but it depends.
