![]() I would really strongly advise those who were a bit lost at the beggining to give it a new try, and join us when we play with the Zhukov platoon (he is on every night as far as I can tell). It's really a completly different experience to play with an organized group.

The GOON air training manual: 1) Is someone shooting at you? No? Keep flying deeper into enemy territory until you are being shot at. 2) Proceed to let your Reaver get shot. 3) Crash into the nearest object. 90% HP? 10%? Doesn't matter, crash that fucker. The GOON air advanced training manual: 1) Regardless of your health or the tactical situation, do everything in your power to crash your Reaver into the nearest aircraft (preferably enemy but that's only optional). As a regular pilot, I have strong reason to believe that these techniques have also been adopted by members of reddit.com outfit TEST, hinting at some weird NC/ VS cross faction forum alliance.

Lol goonswarm. Such a terrible guild. In every game I've ever seen them in they do nothing but be bad.

The goons have trouble doing things as individuals, hence piloting is a bit hard. EVE doesnt actually give you practice at conventional flying either, you fly by double clicking in space.

look for "zukhov squad alpha/beta/etc" in the evening, they are always public so anyone can join it. You basically have zhukov + a couple of people on voice chat coordinating our troops. They are not focused on farming kills or things like that, more playing to conquer/territories, so don't expect incredible cert gains. We often fight against superior number of ennemies with more equipement, but that makes our victories even more rewarding :D.

We often fight against superior number of ennemies with more equipement, but that makes our victories even more rewarding :D. His Alpha Squad is usually called: Zukhov - Formido - All Welcome Bravo, Charlie and Delta can have different names, i usually call the squad i lead "Zukhov - Indar/Esamir/Amerish - All Welcome". Yesterday was so much fun in Zukhov Platoon. We had 7 platoons in command chat trying to capture the maxed out Esamir. After 2 hours of fighting the leaders got fed up with the "Push TR, get pushed by VS. Push VS, get pushed by TR." ping pong, so they tried a new approach: All platoons were ordered back to the warpgate to pull a huge amount of vehicles and then roll out to the TR warpgate. The plan was to camp and taunt the TR until they leave the continent to then try the same with the VS. Suprisingly it actually worked and TR population was in a decline when i had to log off after destroying dozens of tanks trying to break out of the TR warpgate. The only annoying thing was the guy in command chat that went "Be more brief in command chat" all the time. We're not TR ![]() Btw, the GOONs are also on Miller as TR. We fought them quite a lot recently and their strategy is still quite simple: Be half as good as anyone else but compensate for it by having twice as many players and vehicles.

The only annoying thing was the guy in command chat that went "Be more brief in command chat" all the time. Buzzcutpsycho suggested one time that TR attempt this same strategy on Indar except replace TR with VS in your story. What ended up happening was the VS population left the continent in embaressment. While camping the VS to drive them out, the NC cut deep into TR territory and had a big upper hand for the rest of the war in both resources and territory, and they only had one faction to focus on by that point thanks to us. Maybe it worked out better for your guys after you left, but when we tried it, the 3rd faction pretty much said thanks and conquered the map. It was fun up until that point though? Buzzcut never really divides his forces when he leads so maybe it could have been avoided. I think most have learned not to listen to him by now.

Usually after a while it works great but something was off today. Seriously, a whole platoon at Red Ridge Garrison and it took half an hour to cap that base because you had to yell at everyone to f*cking move to the control point "or else". Well, tomorrow might be better. In command channel they were talking about full ops to take over Amerish tomorrow, might be fun. Indar is just impossible. I haven't really researched a lot, but I wanted to know if I should get involved or not (I have limited bandwidth ): ) Downside is that you have to do some research on how to improve performance because it is horrible at the moment and you have to change some ini settings to improve it. A patch on 30th january is supposed to fix that but until, then depending on your PC, you might have to fight with 20 FPS in big battles. It's not as bad as it might sound though, it's still playable. Another downside is that you might lose a lot of time fighting epic battles after which you notice that you should have been in bed 3 hours ago. Battles can take forever and there is sometimes no break between big fights, so it's easy to forget to look at the clock.

Yeah I haven't seen it being this bad before. At least there were a couple more medics than a couple days ago ^^ Was not only Zukhov's platoon today: when I was playing earlier today I joined another platoon and they had a somewhat similar situation as with us, asked all squads to move to a certain point and don't move up. Guess what happened ^^
